Hi Quidco Rep,

I received two e-mails from Quidco offering bonuses (£2.50 & £5) for purchases with any retailer by a specific date. I made two purchases within the specified time periods and are all showing as 'tracked'. Your e-mail stated that my bonuses would be 'added within 3 days of my transactions being tracked'.

As no bonuses had been added, I spoke to 'Josh' on 12.7.13 - He agreed that I met the criteria and said he would add the bonuses straight away.

Today (13.7.13) I could see no bonuses there, so I decided to again contact you. 'Elinor' then told me a different story and that I had to chase up this via a different route! I also asked to formally raise a complaint regarding this matter but she told me the escalation route was for me to 'fill out a form' - somewhat frustrating for a customer who has been told two different things by two different operators!

Can you help?
Many thanks
Jodie

I bought car insurance on 04.06.2013 through Swinton (via quidco) - did a cashback claim as it it didn't track or show up on my status after 3 days.
Just went on live chat now & been told I have to do another claim as it there is no record of the first one, only to try and do this you need a 9 digit policy number and mine is only 8!
Even rang my local swintons to double-check & they confirmed it is only 8 digits? In a vain attempt at getting my cashback i have submitted the form adding an extra digit, but expect it to be rejected.
Any ideas on how to get this sorted please?

As an update to the previous problems experienced with Quidco, I would like to say that the matter was never resolved.
Quidco refused to supply my data in response to my SAR under DPA regulations. Only later did they request £10 from me to see confirmation of deletion of my details - this would have been just a faked confirmation. The payment was requested by someone who clearly had no idea as to their obligations under the DPA, but yet still felt they could appoint themselves data controller.
The lies about account deletion and not being able to access data once an account has been deleted are plain for all to see - as before, even now only the password has been changed on my account. Quidco blocked and unblocked my password several times before, leading to the same blocked access message as appears now if I try to log in.
I see my complaints on MoneySavingExpert have been censored by the Forum team. Some much for honesty and transparency...0 -
I note that three years after DGM went bust, costing a lot of us Quidco members money, Quidco have eventually got round to declining my transaction. This would have been paid if I had used topcashback instead, and as I do now.
I recall Quidco said at the time we were going to be kept up to date on how things were progressing with the administration, but not even an e-mail to advise the account had been updated.
I have not used my Quidco account since, so that seems the end of the Quidco membership for me. They were good when I joined, but are not worth the risk any more. They don't look after their members any more.0 -
I have purcahsed O2 broadband via the quidco website in May. When clicking on the 02 link a pop up screen with 02 customer services number. Before purchasing the broadband over the phone I confirmed that I was still entitled to the £100 cash back if the purchase was made over the phone. The advirsor informed me that I was and asked for my email address linked to my quidco account.
At the end of May I emailed Quidco to find out why my 02 broadband had not tracked. Julie adived me it would take 90 days to process and that they would manually add it to my account. My broadband was purcahsed on 13th May 2013 and it is now over the 90 day period and nothing had been put into my account.
I have contacted you team this week and was advised that the offer was for "online" purchases only. Had this been the case why did the Quidco website then produce an 02 broadband Customer service number to call?
Can someone please assist?
Many thanks,

Exactly the same thing happened to me!
I've contacted both Quidco and O2 about this and still have a few days left until the 90 days is up for me so I can push a claim.
I was initially told a week, then 25 days, then 30, then 60...I'm now waiting for 90 days, this is crazy! I'm even a Quidco Premium member but it seems to be pretty worthless in many respects, all it entitles me is the online chat function where I can "talk" to someone online but as much as they seem friendly enough, they seem to do very little to actually change and over-turn decisions.
I'm going to keep hassling them as it does me no harm, then as soon as my membership is up I'm walking, I have had the M&S vouchers but am still waiting for the cashback, it was a clear web-page which stated you had to call the number, they took my quidco address and membership name, if no cashback was due why did they ask for these details?!
They have exactly 7 days to deal with my claim before 90 days is up. I only became a paying member in May, yet already I've had too many problems with cashback not being paid. It tracks as nil and is unpaid. It doesn't track or the cashback paid isn't the same as the cashback promised.0 -
