Well I put in a general ticket a few days ago and this is the reply I got

"I can confirm that your claim is currently with the retailer and we are waiting for them to confirm them to pay the cashback so we can pass this on to you.

I can confirm that claims with this retailer can take anything up to 7 months to be paid, but we will chase them to try and hurry the payment where possible."

It's pretty much telling me to go away and wait another 3 months with no personal service at all or promise that Quidco will look into my claim specifically and get back to me in a few days with more news. I really don't know why I am being made to pay the £5 premium fee (which was taken from my account automatically until I can cancel it at my next renewal date) for this poor level of customer service.

How often do you recommend I keep sending in a general query to chase this and when will I get a response specific to my case rather than being fobbed off with a generic answer?

    Hi Star2000

I am very sorry that you feel this way. It does take a little longer for insurance purchases to confirm, this is just because more checks have to be carried out to prevent fraudulent activity. This is to protect both Quidco and our customers! Keep an eye on your Sainsburys purchase and if it doesn't update within the retailers payment speeds, get in touch with customer support and they will be able to advise on this. I do understand that as a premium member you are expecting to benefit from the faster paying retailers on our site, they are clearly shown on the retailers pages, with an idea of how much quicker you should expect payment. If you feel that you aren't benefiting from our premium service, you can of course downgrade your account to basic and see how this works for you.

Virtually every day I get a 'Hang in there we are updating the site' when I log in. Whats all that about?

    Hi p00

We aren't aware of any problems with our site at the moment! Can I ask you to try using a different Internet browser?, sometimes there can be an issue with your settings not liking our site.

    Thanks,

  • Hi, I put a request for a Quidco Rep to help me out with a similar post, concerning failed cashback claim from O2, placed on here previously and you seem to be ignoring me. If this is the case, please let me know and I can take my case (Citing this rebuff) to another place. Thanks again, pox.

    Message for Aviva rep please:

    Hi,

I've been in contact with you over my cashback not tracking via Quidco for car insurance (I've put in a cashback claim).

My quote was for £205 but when I log in to my Policy, it states that my Policy is 218.24 (!) but it doesn't say that this is because of interest on the monthly payments, it lists my monthly payments but doesn't show the first double payment that's already come out of my account, so it's confusing.

    Could you advise please? :(

  • Hi Littlewren

No problems I can look at this for you and will send you an email.

    Kind regards

  • Looks like the Aviva Rep is awake and willing, that's a good sign and instills confidence in Aviva as a business. I am still trying to contact someone from Quidco to resolve an issue with o2 cashback from 3 months ago. I'm obviously in the wrong place, I will take my grievance elsewhere, Quidco couldn't get enough of me when they were touting for my business. It's a pity they are nowhere near concerned once they have gotten it, pox.

Nina1607 & Jenniewb: Can you please raise a ticket stating: FAO Brad Nina1607/Jenniewb then the date that you made your post regarding your O2 cashback. I will personally look into this for you.

    Thanks

    Brad

All resolved this week thanks :) I arranged a call back (premium member) and got the o2 cashback paid in full. Big relief and awaiting the cash to be paid to bank account. Very relieved this is (almost) all done and dusted now

I have to say I've had excellent customer service from Aviva, who are quick to respond to queries I've had. I hope you get your O2 cashback sorted.

  • Thank you littlewren, so do I. However they (Quidco) still seem to be ignoring me over the O2 cashback issue, but I can assure you that I will be posting here and elsewhere until I get an answer to my satisfaction. Thanks again, pox.

Yes, still not had a failed transaction in 2 years at Quidco, so overall pleased. I have had one for Metroplay £30 not tracked recently with a claim now open.

TCB have now made me a 'premium' member as I've had over 1k from them, but there is an annual fee for this. TCB also failed to resolve and get my £60 from Eurogrand casino, despite me supplying the deposit transaction number timed 3 minutes after my click-through and TCB actually recording the click through. Apparently commission was paid through 'another affiliate' which is a load of tripe. TCB also have failed to resolve a non-tracked but proven transaction (15 owed) from Maria in December plus 188bet didn't track recently so another claim in for £21.

Overall Quidco are slower than TCB but more reliable I'd say.

And once more Music Magpie has declined cashback (6 times out of 6), time to put a claim in (and if it's like the other 5 times it will be paid).

There is one more MM cashback tracked, I shall bet 10p that it will be declined, but paid out on issuing a claim.

It can't be just me who MM decline for no reason, but pays out when making a claim?

Nice to see Waterstones & Maplin back on the app available to check-in :) Any other stores added recently?
