Hi, I put a request for a Quidco Rep to help me out with a similar post, concerning failed cashback claim from O2, placed on here previously and you seem to be ignoring me. If this is the case, please let me know and I can take my case (Citing this rebuff) to another place. Thanks again, pox.

    Hi pocketslint,

I’m sorry that your previous question was not answered, if you would like to discuss your account specifically, then we are not able to do this on MSE and would need you to raise a ticket. I’m sorry but we cannot address personal issues over this forum.

All resolved this week thanks :) I arranged a call back (premium member) and got the o2 cashback paid in full. Big relief and awaiting the cash to be paid to bank account. Very relieved this is (almost) all done and dusted now

    Hi jenniewb,

I’m glad to hear we’ve managed to help you out with this, I’m only sorry that was an issue in the first place. Let us know if we can do anything else for you.
Yes, still not had a failed transaction in 2 years at Quidco, so overall pleased. I have had one for Metroplay £30 not tracked recently with a claim now open.
    ….
Overall Quidco are slower than TCB but more reliable I'd say.

    Hi shaftingham,
Keep your eyes peeled as we’re always working with the retailers to make payment quicker and we should have some great improvements coming soon :)

And once more Music Magpie has declined cashback (6 times out of 6), time to put a claim in (and if it's like the other 5 times it will be paid).

There is one more MM cashback tracked, I shall bet 10p that it will be declined, but paid out on issuing a claim.

It can't be just me who MM decline for no reason, but pays out when making a claim?

Nice to see Waterstones & Maplin back on the app available to check-in :) Any other stores added recently?

    Hi Kite2010,

Unfortunately we don’t get a reason for the decline when the retailer comes back the first time, but this is why we have the claim. I’ve passed this information on to the team anyway and they will monitor the retailers cashback. If they find that too many items are being declined then we will launch an investigation to find the cause of this. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused, but unfortunately there isn’t a quick fix, we need to take a closer look.

As for the app, there are a few new retailers, seems like you have them all. The list constantly changes as we update the retailers on the site.

Hi, I went on quidco to book a hotel and noticed there was a 12% offer on for hotels, in addition to cashback.

However, when following the link from quidco you're directed to the hotels.com US site, annoying but you can change the currency.

The biggest problem is that the 12% is only off mobile bookings, so accessing the site from my mobile directed me to their full webite. Going to checkout and enetering the code rejected it (it can only be used on mobile website/app, though surely it should recognise I'm using a mobile)
Can I just change the link to the mobile website or will this mess up cashback tracking. They're definitely meant to be used in conjunction, yet quidco direct me to the wrong website!

    Hi caoimhin,

This shouldn’t happening, I’m really sorry you’ve encountered a problem. Can I ask that you email members@quidco.com with a breakdown of the issue and maybe a screenshot of the page that it is directing you to? It would be a great help and we’ll get this sorted for you.

Thanks for all of your questions and comments,

    Leanne :)

I have always been a premium member because they swipe £5 off me every year. It looks like this will be my last year with them!

The CS is appalling. I did the peppers offer, got the right item and they deemed it ineligible. Web chatted with someone from their side and the woman said "Oh yeah, we seem to have messed up, you clearly have bought it, and you have the receipt uploaded". It still took another 20 minutes before she agreed to goodwill the 40p. !!!!!!!

I purchased a Single Trip Premium Travel insurance policy from the Post Office via Quidco on 22 May 2013. It should have received cashback of £8.00.
It did not track automatically so I submitted a Quidco cashback claim on 20 June 2013.

Today I have a received a message from Quidco stating that the Post Office do not recognise Quidco as being the referrer, so they have refused the claim with no obvious way that I can follow this up.

I am exceedingly annoyed as I have a file containing screen prints which show the Quidco message saying that I am being transferred to the PO website, followed by screen prints as I went through the purchase process, right up to the purchase confirmation screen, and emails, and the policy documents that were sent.
These prove that the purchase was via Quidco, and that the policy was purchased, paid for, and has now been used.

What is the point of Quidco if they don’t let you have any comeback when the Post Office is obviously just trying to avoid paying a genuine cashback claim?

Even more annoying is that I later purchased an Annual policy which also failed to auto-track , so I currently have another claim outstanding for that - what's the betting that the Post Office refuse to recognise that one as well !

    Hi brownbabygirl,

Prior to 15th April 2013 all of our members were subject to the £5 retention fee. We introduced two levels of membership at this time- basic and premium. Our customers were advised of the change and were able to downgrade their account if they did wish to do so. A premium member does benefit from lots more including enhanced customer services ( live chat, callbacks), bespoke offers and promotions, faster paying retailers and free from ads. There is a £5 retention fee for this type of membership which is deducted from your annual cashback earnings. If you did wish to downgrade your account to basic, you can of course do so by contacting our customer service team.

    Hi mimi1234,

As previous, prior to the 15th April 2013, all members were subject to the £5 retention fee as outlined in the quidco agreement when you signed up. I am sorry to hear that you are taking the decision for this to be your last year with us. I can maybe suggest downgrading to a basic account if you are not happy with the premium service, and see how this goes for you. In regards to your clicksnap purchase, I apologise that this was not awarded initially. I hope that you do continue to claim clicksnap offers in the hope that we can regain your trust. Please do be assured we do our best to try to resolve any problems as swiftly as possible.

    Hi ebc,

I am very sorry to hear that your cashback has been declined. Can I ask you to raise a support message with our customer services team as we may be able to investigate this further for you. Unfortunately, we are not able to investigate individual claims through our forums.

    Many Thanks,

    Hi brownbabygirl,

It was all over the site and when you signed in after the changes, you were asked to tick to say you had read the updated terms & conditions. If you'd like to downgrade at any time, we'll be able to do this, just give the customer support team a message.

    Thanks,

    Leanne :)

Any non premium members having trouble with the smart help contact form?

When I select the option, my cash back has not been confirmed - then I select the retailer, and the transaction. There is no option to progress any further.

i mentioned it on here a few months ago (9th july-just checked), I have raised the issue with quidco by email, I didn't get a response to the last email (sent last week).

it still isn't working for me.

    Hi Quidco,

I took out Aviva Car Insurance on the 2nd August, which didn't track, so I raised a claim. Are you able to tell me how long it will take to be paid (I understand by the helpful folk at Aviva that it will definitely be paid).

I was hoping to use the £70 cashback for holiday spending, which is why I ask.

Or perhaps the Aviva rep could answer?

Many thanks in advance for your help. :)
