    Hi [Watto1990],

Great news! We have now received the report back from 3 Mobile regarding your declined transaction and I can confirm that they have now approved your cashback. We will now expect the cashback to come through within the next 60 days or so, and we will continue to chase them up for the payment as we know you have been waiting a long time for this now.

Once again do accept our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused, and I hope this has settled the concerns you had over the cashback.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie
    Quidcare

Almost 7 weeks on from this message (from an issue that's been ongoing since March!) and still nothing has happened. My cashback is still marked as declined. Yes, I know the message says within 60 days but if nothing has happened within the first 50 then I'm sure everyone will forgive my doubts that anything will happen in the last 10.

I also note that in the time I've been waiting Quidco has managed to take their £5 membership fee from me. Call me a cynic, but I have a niggling feeling that perhaps that message was just a delaying tactic...?

I know I have been asking this same question now for roughly 7 months, And you keep coming back with the same reply, So could you tell me if you have any update with New Vista payments dating back to November 2010, Yes I'm sure you will say we are chasing these payments (again).

But my question is, Is why have other cashback sites caught up with these (even cashback sites that are not so well known as Quidco are no longer behind in payments)

So do the networks only delay on paying Quidco? As other cashback sites seem all up to date with old and new payments?

    Thanks in advance

    Good morning,

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

@sukh17 – If you complete the transaction over the phone then I’m afraid it is very likely that the purchase will either not track, or will be declined. All transactions must be completed wholly online in order to receive cashback, unless otherwise stated. However, this does depend on whether you are referring to the Samsung Apollo offer or not, as you can currently complete your Samsung Apollo purchase over the phone. Please see the terms and conditions on T-Mobile's Quidco page for more details.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

Its the normal £150 cash back deal. How do I complete the deal if there is no stock? Should I cancel the order and then re-order and hope it just goes through?

Thanks, one of the most sensible questions asked on this thread.

I took out home insurance with AXA, it tracked ok. Then a week later, my activity was updated and it came up AXA motor insurance. The cashback amount hasn't changed. Why has it done this and will it affect me receiving my cashback, as I definitely did not take out any motor insurance, and my concern is they will look at it say that I did not take out motor insurance and decline my cashback.

    Good morning,

@Watto1990 – Although we do offer estimate payment times, I’m afraid we can never guarantee the exact time that the payment will come through, and until we receive the cashback from 3 Mobile we are unable to pass this on to you, I am very sorry for how long you’ve been waiting.

@iduno86 – I cannot comment on other cashback sites or indeed networks, all I can tell you is that we have not received the payment from New Vista. I do realise it is frustrating and we will let you know as soon as we have received an update, but I’m afraid at the moment this is the only information we can provide.

@sukh17 – This probably would be best, just to be on the safe side. As long as you are able to complete the purchase wholly online without any telephone intervention, and there are no amendments made to your order then you shouldn’t have any problems with this.

@rhcp – Sometimes cashback can track under the wrong title, but as long as the retailer is correct and the amount of cashback is correct there is nothing to worry about, and the cashback will still be processed correctly.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

It's not just New Vista though, HSW is another and there are lots of others.

I purchased an iPhone 4 contract through mobiles.co.uk. It hadn't tracked so I raised a claim (giving all the details - order no. etc) and it's come back "declined. Another marketing channel was credited with sale". To put it mildly this is absolute tosh! The phone was in stock so there wasn't any phone contact. The only time that I had to phone was after I recieved the handset and phoned to cancel the insurance and mobile helpdesk that had been added on automatically. I am mystified as to which other marketing channel could have claimed the success for my sale and feel like the short of an internal inquiry (unlikely to happen for one cashback claim) as to who changed the marketing channel (presumably so they could claim commission) there's very little I can do as an individual consumer. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't get angry very often as I accept that Quidco cashback is a nice bonus but when the reason for decline is untrue it just feels like a swizz!

In an update - Quidco have now advised that mobiles.co.uk have said "the retailer is telling us that the referral fee for your purchase has been paid to another referrer". Mystified - I don't use any other cashback sites. Quidco also advise that if I'd used any other sites - even something as simple as Google this can invalidate my claim. Again, I'm really disappointed - surely the retailer can see from the time of my purchase and the corresponding order that the order was placed via Quidco?

  • Hi all,
first post and I hope I am not treading on anyone's toes but this question is loosely related to quidco so thought I would post here so here goes.
My home insurance renewal came through today and I thought I would just switch as I usually do each year.
I am currently with Aviva and was about to switch to L&G before I rang Aviva.
I explained to the rep that I was using quidco and would get a good cashback through quidco when switching. Needless to say they could not beat the quote including cashback but the rep went on to explain that he could cancel my policy today and I would still be covered until my renewal date. He then suggested that I might be able to get another quote through quidco with Aviva.

So my question is would I be able to do that since all the cashback refers to customers as 'new' customers. Since I have cancelled would I not be considered as 'new' or does there have to be a period of time lapse before you are considered as 'new' again?
    Thanks all.
    Mac.

If you are an existing customer, you will forever 'be on their books' so no, you will not get the cashback. New means new means new.
