  • I deposited money into a Gala bingo account several months ago when £25 cashback was offered. I deposited and played £10 and knew it would take months for me to get the cashback. That was in May and I have now had many conversations with both Gala and Quidco in order to confirm that I deposited the amount and then wagered it.

In between my deposit and now Gala have also changed their website. Quidco initially declined my cashback and asked for screen shot of my deposit and how I spent it. I couldn't do that because they had revamped their website but I did manage to get an account of how I spent the money from Gala.

Now many months later Quidco are still arguing with me about this claim and have changed their story many times. They are now going with a 'you put the £10 in but only spent £9.67 (or similar amount)' story. I have provided them with proof from Gala showing all the deposit was spent and my balance is £0.00 so it obviously has been spent. I am at the end of my tether with them. The members of staff have been rude to me and seem to be going out of their way to close the claim without making any effort.

Has anyone had a similar experience and got through to them? I would have given up but its a lot of money and i think its their intention for me to give up so they dont have to pay up.
  • hello,
i recently purchased a sim only 12 month contract from Three via quidco. It was the Internet Essentials 200m contract with £50 cashback. This was on Monday and still nothing has tracked. I have 14 days in which to return the sim to Three for a full refund. I believe I cant raise a query until tomorrow (3 days), then you wait for 7 days because Three asked you to? What is the likely hood that after that period you can track the cashback within 2 days max as without it the deal is no good and I will send it back on day 12.
    Thanks,
    John
  • Hi there,
Can anyone tell me if going through Quidco to upgrade to Sky+ HD (currently £100 c/b) is still valid if I use the 3 months free offer currently on the Sky website? It's not a voucher code and this seems ok from the t&c that I read. What do we think?
  • Hi there,

Rosie, I was hoping you could help me with a query I have. I bought home insurance with Aviva on 18th May 2012 but cash back was not tracked so I raised a ticket on 6th June and on 14th June you wrote back saying Aviva only deal with claims after 95days and so the claim is put on hold. You also said that 'I will contact you to advise you when we send your claim off to Aviva Home Insurance'. More than 95 days have passed and I have not heard anything yet.

Also, can you please tell me why it is not possible to send an email enquiry through to you directly via your website. I can't find way of doing so although I may be missing something.

    Thanks!
  • Hi Rosie, please ignore my post re. the Nationwide credit card, as it has tracked OK.

i upgraded to Sky+HD with the HD pack and got a similar off with £25 quid's worth of M&S Vouchers as well so it should be fine.

Just make sure to clear ALL your cookies in your browser before you take the offer as Quidco will try to screw you ..

    Gotta love quidco... :rotfl:

I've just been paid for a purchase I never made.

It was apparently in April, and tracked in June. I just ignored it as I assumed it would be declined at some point. Today it paid out! :rotfl:

(and no, no money went missing from my bank account around April)
Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard

Has it been at least 72 hours (not simply 3 days)? I've made that mistake before. If not that, then I don't know, sorry.

My home insurance taken out recently with Aviva didn't track either, how annoying. Also, why do Aviva require you to wait as long as 95 days before dealing with claims, that's bad. If you were going to cancel the policy you wouldn't wait 95 days! :(
