– I’m afraid as rick@findthatfuchsia has stated, they will not accept cashback claims from us at this moment in time. We have been speaking to them over the past few weeks to hopefully get them to offer cashback claims, but at the moment they will not accept them, unfortunately.
Many thanks,
Rosie[/QUOTE]
Thanks Rosie, please keep nagging them but I do think in the meantime Quidco should remove them from their listing to avoid confusion and disappointment. As and when it does resume I assume they will backdate and honour previous bookers who booked during this period of confusion.Thank you to everyone who has helped me MoneySave0 -
jasonwatkins wrote: »Thing is, I had that first, then it was declined and now it's gone back to them again. Well, I've had two sky claims - one has apparently been approved and the other, higher, one has been declined.
So we'll see ..
I received an update to my ticket today to say that it's finally gone through as confirmed/paid and will be paid in the next payment run (Wed)!
Hopefully it goes through ok. So for anyone chasing Sky, it's definitely worth trying again.
The Great Declutter Challenge - £8760 -
Hi all,
I am recently a new customer, and just purchased a Dell laptop over a week ago using Quidco. However, my correctly tracked purchase (£825.90 on 29 Aug 2012) differs greatly to the 'Confirmed' status on my account from Dell (£126,683.90 ?! on 31 Aug 2012).
Shortly afterwards, I got an email from Quidco saying my cashback has been declined. I am trying to raise a cashback claim through the help system but can not seem to get any solution when selecting the following two choices:
a) Declined cashback -> because the status of my cashback is still under 'Confirmed', Quidco replies that they have no records of any declined cashback.
b) Incorrect amount -> I am unable to select my purchase as there is a note next to it saying "Older than 45 days" even though my purchase was tracked on 25 Aug 2012 which is just over a week ago.
As a result, I am unable to contact any support care/report my problems to Quidco. I would be really grateful if I could get any help on how I should proceed.
Thanks.0 -
Have made various purchases via quidco recently for hotels.com. In the last week they have all paid out 3 days later. Stay I had booked 3 weeks ago, has tracked but not been confirmed yet.
Is this because the stay was booked prior to the new faster payments system coming in?
Stay was completed 5 days ago - since had cash confirmed for other stays finishing since.0 -
Not so much a question as a recommendation - I used the Quidco App to check in to a few places today. I note that there is an option to link it to my facebook account and some retailers pay an enhanced cash amount for checking in and advertising in this way.
Easy option, allow it to post to your FB and then delete the post straightaway from the FB App - pocket a few extra pence from the check in!0 -
Raised the ticket today...
I got a response asking me to raise an incorrect cashback claim:"Hi Paul,But I can't do that as the cashback is not yet showing as confirmed.
I am sorry for the confusion caused with your incorrect tracking.
In order to investigate further we will require an incorrect cashback claim.
Therefore please wait until your purchase has become confirmed and then raise an incorrect cashback claim by going here.
We will then be able to send this to the retailer for manual investigation.
Kind regards,
Steve
Quidcare"
It looks like there isn't a mechanism for saying that the amount of a tracked transaction is incorrect...0 -
Good afternoon,
@macro duck – Hi Roger, I’m sorry to hear how delayed these are. Can you please raise a support ticket via this link, and this will allow the Quidcare Team to escalate these to our payments team and hopefully have these paid as soon as possible.
@SpiderMonkey – Apologies, I addressed everyone regarding the Sky issue on my response rather than everyone individually – I’ve pasted it again for you below:
For clarification, if anyone has experienced this issue with Sky, can you please raise this with me via our complaints procedure, and I will personally take a look into this for you.
@mum26 – Fantastic, always good to hear a bit of good news on here! I would raise a support ticket for that older one, yes, I’m sure we can chase that up for you.
@mystic_trev – Sorry to hear this, we have changed our claims form recently and we’ve spotted a few technical errors here and there, hopefully we’ve fixed them all now though. If you are still having trouble can you please go to the help centre and select ‘I am unable to raise a cashback claim’.
@jasonwatkins – That’s fine Jason, I believe Jamie is looking into this batch of claims on the whole anyway, so hopefully he’ll be able to have this sorted out for us.
@retepetsir – Great news!
@deslorna – It’s something we’re still working on unfortunately, fingers crossed it won’t be too long until we have a final resolution from them.
@tekky – That all sounds very strange, I’m not sure what’s happened there! Can you please confirm your Quidco userID for me so I can take a look? If you don’t wish to post it on here, can you please email it to members@quidco.com.
@bluebottle23 – It is down to the Faster Paying retailers contract, yes. The contract began on 16th August, so it sounds as though the stay would’ve just been before that, unfortunately. We’re still trying to hurry along payments before this time, but regrettably they may take a little longer this time. Its good to hear that the Faster Paying retailers are paying out so quickly on newer transactions, though!
@banjobob – Thanks for the suggestion – I’ll pass it on to our development team to get their thoughts on it
@prowla – Unfortunately if a transaction is tracking incorrectly there is little we can do if it doesn’t look like its going to update to the correct amount, apart from raising a claim once it has confirmed. Sometimes they may still update to the correct amount on confirmation anyway, but at the moment the only way for us to obtain the cashback if it doesn’t update is to raise a claim on confirmation.
Many thanks,

In the meanwhile, my rule of thumb is to avoid the cashback/vendor combination if there is an unresolved issue, so it looks like my next few trips will exclude ebookers via QuidCo.0 -
Hi Rosie, I just tried to raise the support ticket but it tells me to wait until 5 months is up, which is actually how long it's been lol!0
