  • I got one !!

You have to be there for 8am to get these bargains. I bet they dont have many of these in stock.

The Nero software is only a 30 day trial mind.

I got one - was my first Lidle 8am queue out. I was in Brighton at 8:01 and a lot of the stuff had already gone! Amazing quite an experience.

It looks pretty good in the box, remote looks solid. I've had a read through the instructions and they are pretty easy to understand. German English as opposed to Korean English.

Like it's been said - Nero software is a 30 day trial - it does say it on the box.

Also in the manual it says that JPEGs over 1MB may be a prob. Also it states the max capacity of the attached drives as being very low. 512MB for usb. I don't think that's right I think it will take bigger drives. Hope it does anyway!

It comes with batteries, an RGB SCART cable and a pair of phono leads.

I think if it will take big drives (which I'm pretty sure others have said it will) then it's a cracker for £30.

I plan on hooking it up via component, which you don't get cables for but that's normal. SCART RGB is pretty good quality, I just going component so I can get a progressive signal.
No reliance should be placed on the above.
  • anyone tried one with a 2gb usb stick etc??

I have tried it with both a 1 & 2 gb memory stick (both same brand) and I couldnt get it working - the divx playback stopped after 2 or 3 minutes and said incompatible usb device. I don't know if it is a problem with my divx player, divx files or the usb keys though

That's a real shame. I have lots of 750mb files.
No reliance should be placed on the above.
  • I have used a 2GB SD card with this and it works fine - may be an alternative?
