I am using a 16Gb stick in my Silvercrest and things dont really work that smoothly. About every 10 seconds the sound goes off for about 2 or 3 seconds. Its almost as though the buffering isnt enough.

It also affects the screen aspect on my Panasonic Viera TV. It flickers between wide screen and my usual 16:9...which means that sometimes I can get 5 out of every 10 seconds either black screen or no sound. My TV is fixed to a single aspect, with auto turned off. My best run so far is about 20 seconds uninterrupted.

Help! the USB port is the reason I bought it...and I am in danger of demoting it to a non main room...

...some DVDs also do the aspect change...but not all.

I have a problem with mine, if i plug the player in through the scart plug everything works fine, but there is no dialog. When I try using the red, yellow and white cables i don't get anything atall. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong before my dad resells it?
