lidl today 14/12/2006(thurs) have got a silvercrest dvd player @ £29.99
it plays everything ( xvid,divx,mpeg,jpeg....) also has 7 in 2 cardreader (usb + sd,mmc...) just bought one AWE!!!!SOME!!!!
QUICK, THEY SHOULD STILL HAVE THEM....!

This player can be made multiregion

To set it codefree follow these steps:

1. Open tray
2. Press 9 9 9 9
3. Enter Region (9 = multi-region)
4. Close Tray
5. Turn player off and on

Bought two this morning they're brilliant!

I bought the Tevion TDVDX3801 about year ago from Lidl.

It has a USB slot too but it only recognises my 80Gb External Hard Drive when it's formatted to Fat32 not NTFS.

Other than that it works superb.

May be the same with this one but no big deal really.
