Penny pincher - I remember that horrible feeling well when dd went to France for the first time at 11yo. i felt physically sick until she was safe home again.

Ds went to the Peak District with school when he was 8 for a week but I wasn't as worried about him, he's always been much more cautious than her, she would and still does regard everyone she meets as a friend.
  • Ah - hugs penny pincher.

Your daughter is more than mature enough to cope. It's just the mums who are left worrying. You are giving her so many wonderful experiences. I remember going to france with the school really well, and it was brill.

had to post again as i've been playing with my avator. My friend had burned some photos and video clips she did for me onto a CD, and i was just looking at them and couldn't resist this one. I did want to post one we had got of charlie in his santa outfit, but DH has put it on his laptop. Grrr. Oh well.

In the background you can see the colour of my living room/dining room anyway, and our new doors if your eyesight is good. :rotfl: Must open a photobucket account as i keep looking at pennine mans photos and thinking i could post that if only...

(School was really good. got spotted by my GCSE group who were over the moon to see me and it gave me a bit of a warm gooey goodwill feeling - toomuch xmas spirit i think - not missing them that much :rotfl: )

    Hugs all round,
    Michelle xx
