Kazonline wrote:Oh, Cha97michelle - that babe is so lush! I don't know how I missed that earlier - or have you not long added the piccie?
It's been there since about the start of November. I want to change it to a xmas piccie but DH must have loaded it onto his laptop rather than the home computer, so i may have to do that tonight or at the weekend.
I'm on fire. I've managed to deal with the post, and clean the bathroom finally. Charlie is still asleep. My sis reckons i should take him to drs, but he only has a cold, and if it lingers to next week we have an appointment then anyway.am i a mean mummy?
Just sorted out some xmas cards to post, and some to take into work with me. going to go in for about 2:30, so i don't disturb anyone to badly. He he.

I know how you feel bargainrzl its awful when you have to wear something suitable for these things - I got myself in such a state this morning cos things are getting tighter, and got thoroughly annoyed with myself cos i havent manage/bothered to lose some weight!
Watched 10 years younger - MY WORD didnt she look a completely different person!! .

Well the sweeties won't get made today but I have managed to prepare and freeze the parsnips ready for the Christmas dinner and have also made a large tray of hm "aunt bessies" roast spuds with rosemary, which will also be in the freezer soon ready for Christmas day.
Have you noticed how one ol style job leads to another? Having done the parsnips and spuds, I didn't want to waste the water they were cooked in, also had some veg that needed to be used so a hm cream of veg soup is now bubbling away.
Off for a :coffee: and to knit some more of the 3rd fluffy scarf. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Hi everyone :santa2:
Happy Birthday Mummymoo and welcome to the new posters!
Just a quickie from me as I'm heading out the door to go and write a cheque for the PTA Christmas presents to the children. Got a shock at work today. I arrived today to find out that the wife of my "second" boss (I have two p-t jobs) had had a minor stroke at the weekend. Came as a shock as she is a lively, active, healthy 61yo. She is ok physically but says she still feels a bit spaced out mentally. They are testing her for all sorts next week.
After school I have to take DD to get a filling.  She is not amused as her big brother has had no work done on his teeth at all (with the exception of his braces) and he is winding her up about it. Still, I keep telling her only she can look after her teeth.
DS is at the Christmas markets in Manchester too (I know someone said they were going this evening too but I honestly can't remember who. Look out for a tall 14yo with a mixed Scottish/Lancashire accent. That's my boy!)
Need to go and sort the washing out before I head out. And to those who haven't even started writing their Christmas cards yet - can I join the club?? I really must get them written tonight.
Bye for now, Annie x"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Out to Aldi this morning for printer paper, OH was sure it was cheaper than Wilko's wrong!!!! still managed to spend £11 though. Back to Wilkinsons for 3 packs of printer paper, by the way I sold my old printer last night, BINGO.... still have the scanner. I found Wilko's stock A4 size thin card, ideal for making 4 fold cards on the computer, didn't buy any, but will keep it in mind for later in the year when birthdays are approaching.
Nipped over to see youngest daughter and children, GS very upset we were not staying for supper........still they will be over at half term for Mamas tomato pasta and carrot cake please!!!!!
OH has nipped out, I have made cauliflower gratin and baked tomato's for supper and also a pot of stock from the chicken carcass, think I deserve a rest, so just having a few minutes catching up on here. Tomorrow is shortbread and coffee cake day.... Saturday I am visiting my friend, last time before the hols, she will be travelling to spend time with her family in the south west.
Right off for a:coffee:and a ginger nut,
Enjoy the rest of the day................

I would quite like to order from Tesco online next week instead of going down there and wondered if anyone could help me with a code for free delivery please???
I don't ever spend anywhere near £50 so a minimum spend one wouldn't be good for me. Where oh where do I look!!!!!!
The codes thread over on the discount board has been locked

Hello All
Am I the only one who's had problems accessing the forums today? I've been trying all day only to be told there's an error on the page
I've done all my work for the next 4 days, so I'm at a loose end. And I'm really tired as I didn't get home till 10.45pm last night. The football game went into extra time - they lost.
I have a day off tomorrow, getting the Christmas tree, having my eyebrows waxed and then off to my friend's little boy's Christmas show, then the staff Christmas do. Wow, I have a busy day for once!!!
Oh I'm so bored. I really want to go home. Seriously considering pulling a sickie for the rest of the day
