Well bed not up for sale yet as it was raining most of yesterday so i couldn't get it out to take a decent picture. I am hoping today will be the day though - even though there are lots of dark clouds going about.
Moving house - well due to OH not wanting us to move, i think plans are on hold until its been signed over to me. This way i know we are safe, and hopefully then he will not change his mind over the amount. I need to be sensible and as my sister said to me think with my head not my heart. Anyway for me to stay here i need to save the difference between amount of mortgage plus fees less inheritance i will get once divorced. This i believe is about £11,073. From the looks of it i have until around Christmas to save this money as divorce is going so slowly. Anyway i have about £5,950 already so it leaves me £5,123 to find. This would then leave me mortgage free and a whole house of equity. That's just over £1K per month to find. Not sure if its possible but i will give it a go. I was already putting the difference between current mortgage and the amount that i would be paying for new mortgage into a pot so that is and extra £400 per month (£2000 up until Dec). I am putting £100 into household pot each month, so another £500 (providing nothing in the house goes wrong). So only another £2623 to find. Will put the sale of the bed towards it (fingers crossed it goes for decent money) and i will see if there is anything else needing to be sold around the house to put to the funds. I withdraw some cash each month so that can stay in there and i need to get a better grip on the food shopping, which will boost it that bit more. I think it is possible if we are sensible. We have got into some bad habits now we have a little more spare money.
I am doing quite well so on a survey site so perhaps I can use that money for xmas rather than the money in the pot, or at least some of it.
Anyway off to try and build the bed, take photo and upload onto selling siteMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Omg. What a turn around! And what sage advice from your sister. Definitely a good way to keep him on board. Mortgage free! Wow! You're doing so so well. And well done on the bed.
I think you should add the £3 to the pot today haha xxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Thanks Kitten - yes yet another turn on the house front. Doing my best not to look at lovely houses up for sale until i am able to move. Will put the £3 in the pot now so its a round £2620 to find. The bed already has 6 watchers on it so hopefully they will have a nice battle at the end and raise the value of it, although happy to just cover costs at the moment and to get it out of the garage. It is a free listing so that is also a bonusMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Well no more bids as yet but someone is coming to view the bed before bidding on it tomorrow,so i will need to get it out of the garage again and set it up before she gets here so she can see how big it is. Just been for a walk into town - furthest i have walked since march and need to get back into it to loose a few (lots) pounds. We received a letter from the school saying they will pay for £50 of school uniform each, for the older 2, so we went to the local school shop and got those bits. Its will be the first time in their school lives they have actually got uniform that is not second hand. Not because we couldn't have afforded it, but why waste the money on new when hardly worn uniform in the charity shops. They were chuffed especially as they have a new pe kit this year. I would have said the old kit was good enough otherwise, until it didn't fit anymore.
We also had a delivery of food from a local charity (funded by the council) the school recommended to those of us on free school meals. It is a bag of food which is enough for 2 meals. Its fairly basic but great that they are doing it. This week we got the ingredients for vegetable cottage pie and mixed bean and vegetable rice. We will get a bag each week which is a lovely treat and hopefully some great recipes to try.
Keep missing surveys today. By the time i get to them, they have already found enough people to participate. Annoying but have got just over £50 in the account so cant complain.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Bed remade in garden and lady is coming in an hour to have a look. Fingers crossed she offers me the buy it now price and will take it away today. There are now 21 watchers. I cant believe so many, although i know i've often watched things and not bought them, but for something that is local and collection only, it seems many more than i normally see.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
