Also have water aerobics a little later on. Best get off here really and do something but its cold and i want to snuggle under blanket. Right July is here and all of the major bills have now gone out of the account leaving us with nothing till Monday which is payday again. It is going to be a tight few months and even more so as the children will be off school before long and OH will only get holiday pay for the 2 weeks he is having off so very basic pay. This means i have to do a better job at planning and organizing. I should have £450 in the bank for the holiday by 1 Aug so that will cover food, petrol to and from and then any treats we want whilst there. Just need to get to Aug now. Lots of pasta, couscous and rice dishes i think as we have plenty of that in at the mo. Had to visit doctors yesterday as have been unwell since Monday and apparently i may have strep b throat infection and it maybe also my glandular fever rearing its head again as its the second throat infection in 3 weeks. So i had to buy antibiotics so no NSD for me although today should be. I also need to start bagging up our penny pot. Have done some a few months back but guess i should start taking it into the bank as i know some don't take more than a few pounds at a time. Right i will be back later as i better go collect the children and get some fresh airMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Ok well i have managed more than lying on the sofa today although not massive. Picked up enough food to keep us going through the weekend. Will try playgroup tomorrow as that is mainly sitting. Whilst in town i can also bank the holiday money as nearly all bagged up. Still need to do some menu planning to see if i can scrape a few pounds off our budget to make up for last months overspends and cut in tax credits. Might try and see if i can find some bits to sell to raise a few extra pounds - wonder how much i could get for my unwanted bits? Need to write a to do list as well as my memory at the moment is terrible - need to remember to finish a few bits off. Also need to work out how to put new wire/plastic stuff in the strimmer so that the garden can be finished. OH will be more inclined to use it if i have got it working already.
Right need to get kids bathed and in bed so that i can get started on my lists and the remaining bagging up of coins:)Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Well counted up penny pot and another £47.45 for the holiday - yay that will buy a few ice creams. Not bad for a years worth of picking coins up off the floor. Have also managed to write my list of things to do. Think bath and bedMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Thanks DFW we have been searching the streets around here to get them. Bank would only let me bank full bags rather than just 10 pound coins? Not sure why as i am sure if you were to go in with just a few coins they would let you. Anyway £37 banked and the remainder will come with us if i cant make them up in the next month.
Playgroup sorted and have said me and DD would like to go on their teddy bears picnic on 19th. This is normally a great event and i have been to the last 7 of them! Plus it is free
I have strimmed the back garden which i am quite proud of myself for. Sounds silly but i have never used a strimmer before. Its not a great solution for no lawn mower but it will do for now. The garden is safe to play in again yay. Right its almost time to head out for school run and by the smell of it i have a nappy to change first!
On that lovely note have a good day and see you soonMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

What a lovely sunny day - makes you feel better. I did a freezer stocktake today as i am trying not to spend much this month as i have mentioned we are skint! We have lots of meat in there and plenty of treat / sweet things to keep us going. Nana bought the kids a couple of boxes of frube yoghurts today as she thought they would be nice for their lunch boxes - good old nana so no yoghurts needed. Have made a list of meals although as i have fairly fussy kids there list isn't as long as ours. just need milk and fruit i reckon this week and maybe the same plus bread for the next 2 weeks so hoping to save a good amount.
Am also digging out some bits to sell on ebay to help with some extra pennies. hope veryone is enjoying the weatherMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Had to come on and share proud mummy moment. School reports were out today and DD had very good for everything plus all 3's on her sats results meaning she is above average on all tested subjects. DS also had very good for almost everything and goods for everything else.
They also got their new teachers. DS has one that is new and unsure if his bully is in the same class or not (may have to have words if he is as i dont want him having another year expecting to be hurt most days). DD on the other hand got the teacher she wanted and the annoying friend has been moved into the other class (which has caused her and her mum to have meltdown on facebook as everyone they know is in DD's class - its always a drama in their house!) Sorry to be mean but they have caused our family a lot of grief over the past few years and it will be nice for my DD to feel she is as clever as she is without being put down all day longOff to celebrate with the nuggets and chips now cooking

Yay bully is in the other class - very happy about this
Just having 5 min sit down before nursery summer fete where i will be raising more money for them. Am doing the sweets in a jar and where is the treasure on the map again. I did them a few weeks back at the school fete. Were in the local social clubs garden today so will be slapping on the suncream before we go. Hoping there are a few shaddy patches to hide in. Lets hope we can raise enough money to cover prizes etc as there are also several other events going on in the town today. Also need to avoid spending the remaining money i have left. The kids are coming with me as OH still working and although i have said i will not be paying for them to go on all of the stalls when we get there they might think differently. Have got around £10 left but i would like to keep that for petrol for next week. Right must get a move on. I hope you all enjoy the lovely weather
