Well not much happier today - exhaust for car is going to cost around 300 before fitting - money we simply dont have. On the positive note today should be a NSD as not leaving the house anymore. My 6 year old daughter has also been proposed to today (ring and all) by her boyfriend from school - she said yes of course - i truley beleive she thinks they really will get married when they are older - so sweet. She was telling me the other day that she will make max eat peas like i make my OH eat peas even though they dont like them - made me chuckle. She is now proudly wearing the oversized ring.

Have transfered some money over from savings to bank to minimise/ stop any minus figures from appearing. Now means no xmas money left so hoping future months improve. Did manage to get june bithdays all sorted and wrapped yesterday before trf monies.

Well still feeling pants - what an enjoyable thread this is - you must all have stopped reading through me being misserable. Well OH raced last night and got back once i was asleep. He mumbled something about going to stanstead at half 7 this morning. He went - i have no idea why or for how long - he was supposed to be mending exhaust until we can afford new one, also helping his best mate retrieve the van he broke on thursday, and helping his dad move a cooker. Well his phone is off and he has no credit anyway so everyone is calling me giving me grief and i have no way to contact him - could say i am annoyed

Just had to rescue DS from down side of bunk beds as he had got knee trapped. Just feel that toda is going to be long and stressful. Can i curl up until tomorrow please and start afresh. At least i will know OH is at work!
Well yesterday was indead a NSD so will update sig in a min. Only a small amount of diet coke left so may NEED to spend money today but will try not to!

My friend tried to force me out last night with some other mums from the school. I couldnt and didnt really want to go - i am past getting drunk and clubbing i am afraid. She just rang and said it was an awful night. She was the only half sobber one as drinks were £6.50 each (would only need one of these mind you before i was drunk) and she said they all acted like teenagers. Hardly any of them were able to walk home and the train ride they were all shouting abuse at people. She has now come to the same conclusion as me (were old and boring) but just a little later than i did :) Did cheer her up though and we have said we will have a boring night out soon and home by 10 :)

  • aww hun! I'm still here i was so hungover yesterday though :o !! I went out friday night with a friend, we had nandos & drinks around town. Luckily she is like me and just likes a good natter, and a few drinks and home by 12 lmao! Still none of it was budgeted for though :( so now have to re-jig everything to take into account one night out! it's carp when you're so poor you can't even have one night out a month (and it was less than £50 including food & cabs so not really expensive!!). My car as you know is always breaking down so i know how you feel on that front *touch wood* it's been ok this month (prob jinxed it now)

    Chin up hunny, xx

Thanks for that - i'm not really fussed about going out to be honest but thats probably because i see my friends during the day more now. I expect when i go back to work eventually i will need to meet them in the evenings.

I am sure i will soon cheer up after i have had a rant at OH for just going off without so much as a 'do you mind if i go racing 2 days in a row'. Maybe i am also lacking in chocolate since staring diet? Although have already cheated so not good in the 1st week is it.

Anyway the sun is out, well just about and washing is on the line and all baskets free from dirty clothes so thats got to be good. Spag bol for dinner tonight so will use healthy recipe rather just a jar and add lots of veg in :)

Well OH is home and is acting like nothing is wrong, although has just asked me if i am ok - my instant reaction is to say yes even if its not - will let him stew a bit maybe - is that really cruel? Anyway he is now off to darts where his best friend is (the one he also let down today) so he will get it all from him too - almost feel a little sorry for him.

Need to keep him in my good books really as i need his bank card tomorrow to transfer money over - i hate the fact he gets paid on a monday as he could easily be away all week and then i cant get housekeeping - he needs it for expenses whilst in lorry.

Oh well a little more chilled now kids are in bed - they have destroyed the house today - best go sort the washing out then bath and bed i think.

Well feeling as if i am a little happier today - guess it was just one of those weekends. Will update sig as it was a NSD yesterday - will need to buy coke today though - can already feel the need for my caffine fix.

Car still out of order until one of OH mates comes round to collect it and mend. Really need it for tomorrow as got my Avon orders to deliver - dont like to let loyal customers down, plus there are some new customers only just gaining my trust so definately dont want to let them down.

Anyway positive thinking, if i end up walking that will help the weight loss ready for weigh in on wed am

Must clean the house today as weekend has definatley taken its toll on the house. Off to check bank account first though - may be back in a min in a bad mood again lol

Back to my normal self thank goodness. I had my 1st weigh in today and lost 4.5lbs - i was amazed as i had cheated a few times but not a bad start. Lady said if i had been able to stay i would probably have got slimmer of the week. Never mind I could tell DD and DS were not going to keep quiet so we went to the park instead.

I bought Zumba for the Wii the other day from ebay. According to her estimated postage times it should have been here yesterday or today. I emailed them to see if it had been posted yet as i am always a little impatient and she said it will be posted today. Is there anyone i can contact or is it just wait and see if it is eventually posted. Payment went out of my account over a week ago :(

Anyway will not let that get me down. Need to deliver the remaining Avon on way to collect DD from school and will have to do the rest at the weekend.

The company that took money out of my account without letting me know (membership fees aparently - very small contract at end of blurb hidden on screen) have now taken an extra £28 out for cancellation fees and are refusing to refund it. Taken around £80 in total. Not sure what else i can do as already told them i am seeking legal help - hoped it might scare them into refund. I would imagine they have had this complaint a LOT as it is very unclear and looks like its free.

Anyway must go deliver avon bits. Have a great day everyone :)

Hi there everyone - bet you had all given up on me lol.

Will try to remember what has been going on. One great thing is that southern electric saw that i had money on my account and thought i might like it back - So £175 back into my account and i didnt even need to hassel them. Thought that was really good of them - guess all of my saving elec and keeping heating off as long as possible paid off. We have agreed to keep the DD's the same at the moment and if bills are low again i will just get a nice bonus at the end of next winter. I have looked into solar pannels and enquired today to see if we are eligable for free ones - OH not keen but if we can get even some of our elec free then not sure what the problem is?

Talking of winter where has summer gone. I keep looking at the forecast for 25 days ahead - only about 4 days have sun and even then there is a black cloud near it. Perhaps it will cheer up once the summer hols arrive :)

Had a lovely few days as a whole family over the jubilee weekend. OH was busy for a few days but made sure he spent time with us for the rest - looks like he is finally getting it - although am i speaking too soon? lol

We dug the front garden over and cleared it from weeds. We only seem to be able to grow lavender so have given up on flowers and will be trying potatoes, onions and sweetcorn. If that doesnt work then i think we will just do the whole border in lavender.

Still have no money as such but life is feeling good at the moment - perhaps something will come along and mess it all up but with everyones help we can deal with it. I have obviously had enough caffine today to beable to cope with life - freeway coke from lidl by the way is great and only something silly like 36p per bottle. Its all i drink now and its not breaking the bank - just my teeth maybe :)

Well night night and hope you are all well

Hello everyone - i have just read the last page to see where i had got up to - boy do i have my ups and downs. Well i am quite positive at the mo, so thats good as i wont be moaning on at you all :)

We got home from our summer hols on sunday afternoon and have already been booked for next year. We were house sitting for my sister who lives 100m or so from the sea front in Worthing. They went off to sunnier climate but me and my lot were very happy with sunny worthing - when i say sunny it was more like cloud but we were grateful that it only really rained for 1 1/2 days out of 8 which i think is pretty good for this year!

We had a day trip to Brighton - went on the train using free £10 red spotty hanky had given us for joining and also our free family railcard - also from on here :) Very MSE. I have never been before and to be honest i wasnt that impressed with brighton - perhaps i just didnt see the right bits - it just seemed very run down for such a well know seaside town. Anyway got given some free cereal bars on the way out of the train station and then they gave us another lot on the way back - guessing they wanted rid of them so they could go home. Anyway that gave us enough treat bits for our pack lunches etc for the remaining hol :)

My sister left us her and her OH's swimming passes. They also managed to get us a free pass for one of the kids, so we only had to pay for 1 child and DD2 is under 2 so free - yay. Went a few times for almost nothing :)

My sister also treated us to a trip to a maize maze near her - there was a groupon voucher she bought us. This was the wettest day we could have chosen. We took pack lunch, raincoats and our wellies and still had lots of fun. I think it would have been very busy had we gone another day. Think we cheated a little on the maze but by half way round the buggy tyres were so clogged up with mud it was almost impossible to push it.

All in all it was a cheap holiday compare to what it could have cost us. Our most expensive item was food as OH wanted to treat us. I would have happily done a food shop and cooked most nights and maybe 1 takeaway, but he kept nipping to the shop accross the road or to the fish and chip shop. Next year i might do a online shop and get it delivered the morning after we get there as it will save OH going round supermarket - which seemed to be the biggest hurdle.

Our car is still broken and i think i will be without until after xmas now. I am online shopping at the mo as getting everything home on a buggy is just not practical. I do however choose the very cheapest slot of 10-6 which is £2.50 per week on top of shopping but i guess if i am not paying for car it is not that bad. Only trip i could use car for is kids swimming lessons. Daughter has now been moved to 8.30am lesson and its a little early for nana to get to us and pick up kids. Am going to see if i can get a time a little later so nana can help out as they seem to enjoy doing it.

I have given up my main round with avon and only now doing friends and family as having no car was making it very difficult and very time consuming. My kids no longer wanted to come along but i obviously needed them to as there is no-one to take care of them. It just seemed the best option especially as i was only making very minimum profit despite getting great sales and meeting targets. Oh well i gave it a year and it didnt work but at least i tried :)

Well i better press button before mamouth post is lost x
