Well i have been sooo busy the past few weeks what with having mum home for the wedding and then relatives also popping by for a few days. Well mum goes home in the early hours of tomorrow morning so things will start to return to normal (well maybe as OH is off on holiday this week!).

Bad news today is that my car is dead. It is not really worth mending - not sure exactly whats wrong but engine broken - we have already spent about £700+ on it in the 2 years we have had it and i think its now destined for the scrap yard. Only problem was we are supposed to be taking mum back to airport - replacement car found for tomorrow morning luckily but no car for a while i reckon. Also OH truck broken so he cant even get to work unless its mended. Think he will have a busy week getting things sorted.

Anyway must go as suitcases everywhere and need to make sure mum has all of her stuff. Night everyone :)

Hi all sorry in advance for a very negative post. I am feeling very agghhh today but not completely sure why. Not manageed to get anything done as kids and OH not being very helpful or well behaved.

Got a new car from OH's friend. Had to tax and MOT and replace breaks on it. It is supposed to be the family car but not all 3 car seats fit in the back and therefore i am the one squeezed into the middle with parts of car seats wedged into my thigh and sholder blades! I am grateful to have a car again but if it is not suitable i would rather have not spent a while heap of money on it.

OH spent most of today playing with his banger car rather than going to get spare key (as the key we had wouldnt lock the doors so i couldnt take it to shop) for our new car so i could do the shopping. In the end i walked to Mr M's. It is not so much the walking that annoys me, as i am fine with that, its the 'yer i will go in a minute' from OH until shops nearly closed.

Sorry i said i wasnt in the mood today. Everything the kids did annoyed me. They havent listened to a thing i have said . Feel like i want to go hide somewhere and leave everyone to it.

Got to get fish tank cleaned so guess i must stop moaping about.

On a positive note because i had been saving on my post office card i had nearly enough money for the new cars tax. Now to start saving again.

Right i am back to my happy self. We have had a very productive day - holiday club, food shopping (very happy with a big trolly load for just under £50 - was expecting a lot more by the amount that was in it), paper mache, dentist for all children.

House looks like a tip again but hoping tomorrow i might be able to hoover and have a quick tidy up in the morning whilst eldest at holiday club. Got hearing test for DS in the afternoon up the hospital so must make sure i have some change for car park.

Money very tight what with all of the extra expenses at the end of the month. Got slightly more in my tax credits today - i imagine they are finishing up balance for this year and it go back to normal next week.

OH is out tonight so wages will have a little extra in for this week. Not sure if he gets pay for bank holidays or not - even if it ws a basic day that would help.

Anyway happy happy thoughts and goodnight to you all

Good evening all. Yesterday trip to hospital for DS hearing test went well. Got fluid in ear but that should clear on its own hopefully. Got another test in 4 months and if not clearing then we will talk about gromits but Dr is hopeful it wont come to that.

Well today again was busy - holiday club, swimming fir DS and cycling course for eldest DD and then doctors for youngest DD as found she has ear infection - no wonder she hasnt stopped grisling! - and then delivery of Avon. I am worn out. Really should be doing some housework right now but i dont have the energy.

It was also a NSD today even with all the bits we have done. Things are calming down now though as just one more day of holiday club to go and then no fixed plans so we can relax for the rest of the holidays. We are making a paper mache hot air balloon and thats going well so far. Need to do my accounts so i can fill in my tax return as soon as possible. Will look at that though once kids are back to school and nursery i think.

OH been away 3 nights in a row this week. They are trying to fit 5 days work into the 4 days i think so he will be exhausted when he gets home. He is supposed to be racing on friday although his car is still not finished so that may sit on our driveway for a few more months. I do hate it there - makes it look like a scrap yard. Anyway will stop thinking about that as i am happy today and will leave you now as i have gone on for long enough :)
    Night everyone

Good evening all. It has been pretty quiet here today. OH has been racing so hopefully one of the scrap cars will be gone by tomorrow - Yay!

DD has been at nanas all day and will be returned by tomorrow evening. No doubt she is having a great time, i just know she will return with an attitude - same everytime - which is why she hasnt been for so long. This was a treat as she has kept her room reasonably tidy for quite a while now.

The rest of us have been watching films and surfing online. I have been on a swagbucks mission. I am aiming to get £25 worth of vouchers by the end of the month. Apparently it is do able but not sure if i can do it. Will give it a good go though. Had to pop to shops for milk and coke so not a no spend day :(

Going to get on computer and have a nice hot bubble bath. Sometimes the simple things are the best :)

Happy Easter to you all. Not much happening here. 2 NSDs as not been anywhere other than the local museum for an easter egg hunt this morning. We already have season tickets so no payment required there. Only got the ticket at the end of march and already almost paid for itself. We practically live there in the summer time so will get plenty of use out of it.

Think i have finally found someone to remove a pile of rubble that is currently on my driveway. Put a message on freecycle and they should take some if not all of it away tomorrow - cant wait as its been there at least a year! Also saw someone advertising on facebook that they want old kitchen appliances. We have a freezer again on the driveway that i may get them to remove. Reading this makes it sound as though we live on scrap yard (and at the moment it kind of is!), but it is in the process of getting cleared as we are getting new neighbours at some stage as it needs doing. OH doesnt think its a problem but i dont like looking at it - sorry i am rambling now

Not managed many points on SB yet today as most of my surveys have chucked me out 10 min in - very annoying

Right must go do some work - night night all :)

Good evening to you all :) DS has his first little birthday party to go to on saturday. Its a girl from his nursery but i cant get many details out of his as to who she is. Anyway i was very good at going through the pressie cupboard and i have managed to find a fifi the flowerpot colouring book and some crayons. I will make her a crayon wrap as well. So the whole lot will cost nothing as got cards as well :)

Had to pop to Mr t's today for a top up on shopping - completely ran out of toilet roll - nearly sent OH to pub to borrow a roll last night! I had piles of the stuff incase we were snowed in but i guess thats all gone now - i may find a spare few rolls somewhere later on in the year as i had to hide them all over the house at the time!

Yesterday was a NSD as i was waiting in for various people - I am doing really well so far this month - good job too as no money for extra bits this month - just bills and food. Will do me good though as i dont NEED anything. WANT lots but thats a different story :)

Bad news yesterday was the lady that came for the rubble wanted bricks not concrete blocks - so its still sitting there :( Will it ever move

Well i am off for a lovely warm bath and early night so will catch up again tomorrow :)

Evening all. Well DS had his birthday party and seemed to enjoy himself. Swimming lessons all done for the week as they are now both doing them at the same time - yay can save petrol and time not having to go there 2 or 3 times a week :) Not done much else today. Seriously need to clean the house as the holidays and mum and OH on holiday have taken their toll on it. Poor house needs a serious clean. Guess that will be Tuesdays job once they are back to school.

My sister rang to say hi and has confirmed we can use their house while they are away. Was surprised when OH said we would stay both weekends. Thought he would be eager to get home so not to miss any car racing! Maybe he has not thought of this yet. Anyway we will be away for 8 nights / 9 days so guess i better talk nicely to some people so the fish get fed!

Had a bit of a weak moment when bidding on ebay. Got several items for kids but could end up costing quite a bit once adding postage and final bids - whoops but i guess that will come out of my spending money that i had put by.

We find out which school DS goes to on tuesday hopefully - so please everyone fingers crossed - as i may have mentioned its not the catchment area school so not sure what will happen. As DD is already there many say we should be ok but until i have the paperwork saying so i dont want to guess. It mixture of nervous and excitment at the moment here.

Only had to buy a few bits today like petrol bread and milk (and diet coke - but cheap brand shhh) so not spent much today. Oh and had our yearly bet on the national and it was looking good until right at the end. Could have made quite a nice amount but lost £5 for the family instead. We do only do the one race per year so i dont feel too bad.
