Yes its that way - west sussex. My sister lives about 200m from beach so i guess we will be spending a lot of time there - only problem is it is mostly pebbles so not many areas for sandcastles! We were that way when we had out last sun holiday but never really left the campsite as it had a pool. Guess i will contact tourist info and see what they come up with. I did find that there is a bus festival type thing on the seafront the day after we arrive so might be worth a lookMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Evening all. Where to start?
*Had my first NSD of may today so will update sig later
*Found £100 in OH's box of junk. It was from when he sold his mini a little while back. Silly me asked if there was any left and when he said no i said i had found it. Should have kept quiet and paid off some more of the debt we have with his sister.
*Paid off £50 to his sister so getting there
* managed to save some money for the holiday
* Avon orders this month seem to be quite good so should be able to put a bit more towards this years xmas and birthday funds.
*Have been putting money into post office account ready for car tax
Nothing much else has happened here lately
will try to update a little more often this month - but then again that was the plan last month!Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

i am going for 10 NSD each month as that seems fairly reasonable to me. Think today will be another, although may have to pay for xmas pressies i have found on ebay that finish today. Is it a NSD if i have a seperate bank account with money in it for xmas pressies?
Well OH has gone to racing so me and the 2 older kids have done the tidying up and they are happily playing upstairs. It is very quiet so may go and see if they are destroying the place again. Definately something easy for dinner.
Got 2 mystery shops next week which should earn me about £16 less a £5 spend (which will be refunded although need to find it 1st). Got no money in bank as all allocated for bills but still have £45 ish in my purse - will have to be a very thrifty week
My mum also has an idea for kids xmas pressies. She can get a fairly decent ipad (but not ipad) from USA for around $39. Her OH has one and it works fine. All my kids loved hers so might get them one as only about £25 each - this is what i allow per child at xmas. If i get it sooner rather that later i can download any free games etc between now and xmas and they will have lots of lovely free games to play. May end up getting one for me too lol. Anyway mum looking into that at the mo although money is ready and waiting in bank account.
Hope everyone is having a great dayMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

oh wow they're cheap! you'll have to let me know how you find them! And if games are easy to download etc...
I don't count a nsd when i spend money on presents although perhaps i should as it's all budgeted for??! hmmm... I feel bad now i must spend about £150 on each little one for xmas and way more on ds1! (although i usually give them a whole new wardrobe of stuff that they need in thatlol) xx

Dont feel bad - we all spend what we can. They also have stockings and get a huge amount from all of the relatives so we figure its better to use money for other bits during the year rather than on things that they will probably not notice during the xmas period. I expect as they get older the budgeted amount will need to increase but until they start asking for expensive bits we will keep budget low
They have both asked for skateboards for birthdays so i will be on the look out for these too.
Will let you know what mum says about these ipad things as yes they are a great price. Not sure if we will end up paying import tax but she is on the case.
Well not a NSD as caved in and had fish & chips - i am sooo lazy
Never mind i will try again tomorrowMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

No money left as OH had to pay all his bills this week and finish paying off money for our new car. Need to get a few bits so will have to borrow from one of my saving pots. Right i need a to do list for today i think
*Mystery shops x 2 (need £10 for this)
*Pick remaining avon books up and place order
*Clean house
*Make birthday cake for OH
*Help friend with sewing project
*Clear car out - suffering due to our family trip out this weekend
*Find something for dinner
*Make a list of bits in the freezer-going to need to use as much of this as no money this week
*Meal plan once i have done the above
Well that will do for nowMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
