Good grief - give the girl and your keyboards a break! She has admitted (several times) that she shouldn't have posted her original OP but she is still being screeched at by what now seems a bunch of dogs who won't drop their bones - perhaps some of you should take your own advice and go back and read your posts
It was very clear that the OP was attention seeking and, I don't have much doubt, has embellished and exaggerated the situation to garner empathy and sympathy for some reason (loneliness/silliness/boredom?) I hope she has learned a good lesson here and won't do it again because it has all come around to bite her on the bum. Clearly she has issues to sort out within her relationship and should perhaps be looking to friends in RL who know her situation instead of throwing out niblets of (exaggerated?) information on a faceless forum.
To the poster stating that the child should be taken from her for a better life, I can only say that they must have a very skewed idea of what it's like for a child to be wrenched from it's family and dropped into our care system. I think some people have this idea that they are dropped on a fluffy white pillow onto the doorsteps of wonderful, childless, desperately wealthy adoptive parents who will give them a charmed life:cool:
I, for one, think it's about time to let this thread die - too much vitriol for one very misguided and, yes, rather silly, poster actually makes some of YOU look pretty bad...0 -
Leos-mummy follow your heart, be strong and try and make the right decision. Write it all down. Think of it all as if you are looking in on someone elses life. Life is too short, dont waste your life doing what you are already aware of is wrong for you. Big changes are hard, but are worth it for the end result!0
