I have a crap landlord and have to withhold my rent sometimes after waiting months and months for repairs. Im no troll nor a chav mother... we only know what people are like from their posts... this is only one aspect of my life and although you's judge me on what i post the people who matter to me judge me on all aspects of my life. Thanks again for your support and advice and i hope it will continue in the future... if you's didnt want to get involved you's wouldnt have posted
Just so you know, if you withhold rent your landlord is entitled to evict you, whether he has outstanding repairs to do or not. So if things need doing I would send him a letter threatening court action if repairs or not begun in, say, 14 days. CAB can help you through the process.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
I have read through all the pages, and wanted to offer advice, but I get the impression that although the op wants advice and is receiving it, she still defends her man.
A lot of the posters on here has gone through what the op has and has given good advice, but unless the OP actually gets some fire in her belly then I dont see any point in offering any advice.
Sorry LM, as much as I feel for you, you are not going to do anything, maybe little token things, but you will take him back and put up with all the krap, good luck for the future.0 -

Yes, so why ask for advice if you have no intention of ever acting on it? Your OH is a selfish drunken waste of oxygen-blowing your HB and other benefits on drink, to the detriment of your son. If I knew where you lived I'd report the pair of you to social services , your child is being put at risk.
Your benefits are to put food on the table, clothes on your son's back and keep a warm comfortable roof over your head, not for OH to p!ss it up the wall on a 4 day bender.
It's people like you and your OH who give genuine claimants a bad name and annoy the shoite out of those of us who work bl00dy hard to keep a roof over our heads and look after our kids. You have the brass neck to criticise women who have abortions because they feel it's their only option, and you have had a child by a man who obviously couldn't give a monkey's @rse about the 3 other children he has by 3 other women (heloo alarm bells should have rung at the time before you allowed him to impregnate you) you put up with him clearing off for days at a time and then allow him to sleep it off all day the next day.
I really pity your child, either he's living with two deadbeat parents or at least one deadbeat father and a mother who is a total fantasist. Grow up. You owe your son at least that much:mad:Nuts oh Hazelnuts:rotfl:0 -

And everyone has the right to reply to those posts
Fwiw I also find you a complete hypocrite - you are so quick to judge those going through difficulty in their lives without knowing the background - then moan when that happens to you!
Some of us, well all of us, probably can see you are in a bad situation.

So everyone on here thinks that im a terrible mother with a drunken abusive partner etc. its not like that at all. My son is fed, clothed, has a roof over his head, he is loved and cared for. No I dont wear hoop earrings etc. Im educated and have been brought up well. I respect people and look for the best in them.
When i posted this I was angry at what my partner had done, this isnt a regular occurence because he wouldnt get away with it. Majority of the time its some beer on a sat nite along with dvds. Yes he drinks more than me but he always gets up on the sunday morning with our son because thats how its always been.
I feel stupid for posting on this when I was so angry because i should have waited til my emotions settled. Obviously im going to paint him in a bad light when Im angry. I know I have ruined my 'credibility' on this forum and for that I apologise. I did genuinely enjoy posting on here and replying to threads of all kinds. I guess its time for me to bow out now.
Thanks anyway and all the best x0
