    Good evening everyone,

    ((HUGS)) jellycat xx

    Welcome to mummymoo x

Well, today was the xmas play at school, and it was brilliant!!! My 2 were only dancers but i thought they were excellent!!!! The infant play reminded me of the film 'Love Actually', yes, we had Mary, Joseph and the donkey (and baby Jesus at the end) but we also had an eagle, stag, frogs (in bright shiny green!!!) mice, wild cat and my favourite - the snowballs!!!!!
Little one didnt come today, not quite sure why, but it was easier not having to take her and put her in the creche.
Just made a lovely spag bol for dinner, followed by banana loaf, so feeling stuffed now!!!
Right, the dishes are calling, however, my new DW is finally being delivered on Friday, and i cannot wait!!!!!
    Have a lovely evening
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

mrsmortenharket chin up, easier said than done I know, I suffered with Post natal depression twice, and was off work last year for a long time with stress & depression, it does get better. (((((hugs)))))

One word for DLB MUPPET! lol - DS got his Xmas dinner thurs & DD got hers friday.

    Welcome mummymoo

Had good day at work, a girl in the same office as me as split with her fella (after she found out he tried it on with another girl at the Xmas party), anyway, she has given me 2 tickets to see Snow Patrol in concert tomorrow night in Manchester - whooppeee - Im over the moon, Ive organised a babysitter, checked out the train timetables etc, so all systems go. I feel awfull that Im excited at her expense tho. I did offer to pay for the tickets, she said no, I said half the cost then, reply was still no, so - who am I to argue!

The girl who's been searching for car insurance alately at work, well - it was her birthday 2day, another excuse not to do any work I guess, she spent ages looking on curry's, comet, pc-world webite for a TV. I went on ebay for a while, checked out my hotmail emails, and went outside for numerous of fag breaks. Whats good for good - etc. At least I know the calls are logged, and I know that my calls will still look far better than hers.

My ex has got DS & DD this evening until 7.30pm. BONUS! As it was his turn to watch the nativity play, plus his parents are over from Birmingham,

Uniforms ironed for work/school 2mr, 1 lot of pack ups done so far.
Not a lot else planned for this evening.
Take care everyone - Love as usual. xx

    Hi mummymoo

You got more done today than I did! Welcome to Old Style.

Pooky these stockings are beautiful - they make the boring red ones I sewed ages ago look very drab!

Have just helped DD(12) wrap up 10 presents for her friends.

Got a set of ten books worth £50 from the book people for £10 ! Really pleased with the money saved and lack of hassle.

Dds enjoyed their baked veggie pasta as I made an extra rich cheese topping on it.

Remaining DD will have large baked potato with tomato, onion and sausage sauce on top.

DH has just rung to say he is fine and the Christmas party is starting at 8 o clock - he will be home tomorrow.

He sounded quite impressed when I told him I had just sold a book to Brussels!

Hugs to jellycat, Mrs MH and everyone else.

    :hello: Hello to mummymoo!

I've got all my supply teaching bits and pieces together for tomorrow. I can't believe how nervous I am! I've already made the sandwiches, so that's one less thing to do later .

My items on Ebay have gone up! At this rate, it will have nearly paid for my hair cut tomorrow. Good job I didn't let the hairdresser talk me into having it coloured as I'd be selling DH on Ebay! I told him that I'd get a good price for him as he cooks and cleans..... :rotfl:

Pasta and a free stir-through pasta sauce for tonight's supper. It was going to be sausages, but that can be for tomorrow when I'm recovering from spending a whole day with children in the classroom!

    Evening all

Now feel like PC Dixon but that’s the time it is so will stick with it.

    Big hugs jellycat.

    Pooky – Wow!

Early morning rise B I G cat-driven as usual. Today he’s been very frisky. He launched full-scale attack on penninewoman’s naked feet and legs as she was drying them after shower . . . . . and then, a little later, did the same to me. And now, as Penninewoman was getting ready to go out to “do” at t’Dunkenhalgh he tried again. Must be the high winds.

Got up again at 11:15, showered, dressed, down to mum’s to help with apple and orange chutney-making. Took all afternoon as needed hour and a half to thicken sufficiently, even after we’d added cornflour which wasn’t in the original recipe.

And had new light fitted in dining room as we did this – so busy.

Got back in time to see Penninewoman before she jetted off over the hills again.

Now the buzzer’s going on my tea – chicken and stuff.

    Here’s a pic I took earlier this year to show someone else B I G cat’s antics.
