They're really good Pooky!
Am currently making an ice skate stocking for OH, will post that when its finished. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
wow how snazzy are those stockings!!! reminds me of some boot covers that my darling mother made for me when i went to a uni fancy dress party as superwoman- ah, the days :-)
Anyway, I've been procrastinating mostly again today. Im 'working from home' again today because the little fluffy one is poorly (he's currently at the vets having his leg x-rayed as we speak)
DH is home tonight, cant wait- he's been away so much recently that those ol' butterflies have started to return everytime he comes home- bizarre. I try not to let on to him because i dont want to pressure him but its really tough him being away at the moment what with it being xmas time and the-fluffy-one is poorly. A bug hugs out there to all the other people who's partners work away.
I made the fluffy one a coat out of a jumper that I shrank last week- he doesn't seem to like it but it's not his choice! ;-)
I just have to make tea, write out some xmas cards and wrap up my secret santa pressie for tomorrows works xmas do. We're new to the close and i still dont knwo everyones name so i've just been waiting till they give us cards and then i'll know their names...only some of them haven't been writing which number house they are from *eek*, I've been trying to match up the house number with the number of people/children and genders of names on the cards!0 -

Hi there Mummymoo. Don't worry about christmas - your 4 month old won't. As long as you're around baby will be happy.
Just got in from work. Doing a quick run round the house before I go get the brats. Must remember to tape Bill Granger on UKTVFood at 5:30. And then I've got Nigella at 8. Good job cookery programmes don't have any calories!
Need to update my sig to show grocery total for month. Found an old SS from June (before I started the Grocery challenge) and grocery shopping alone came to £560. No wonder I was always skint. Still skint but at least I know where it all goes (and some of it goes on more fun stuff than grocery shopping)
right. Off to have a quick neb at the rest of the site.

Oh - forgot to say. Managed to get a set of "Harry and his bucketful of dinosaurs" from the bookpeople for 8.99 less 10% and free p&p. Aren't I a clever mummy?"You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me." - C.S. Lewis0 -
WELCOME mummymoo !!!
