Morning all
(((hugs))) especially to Quasar and Mrs MH, and to anyone else in need.
Running a bit behind today. Got the kids to school - but I still haven't had a shower and the house looks like a bomb's hit it Would you know I shampooed the carpets yesterday? Not really
Anyway - my SIL is coming later as she and Mr TM are going to see Madness in Manchester (did I get an invite? What do you think!!) So, spare room needs clearing out cos it's full of boxes/wrapping paper etc. DS2 wet the bed again last nght (he's taken to drinking lots of water at school!) so that's another 2 loads of washing. I'll just take the other waterproof undersheet off the radiator and put it straight on the bed while I wash this one
Had to take the boys and go shopping at Mr T's last night as won't have time today. Hmmm - I always remember when i'm there why I don't take them! Also, spent over £100 and I was meant to be doing a sort of store cupboard challenge. Mind you - did get a jumper and £35 of xmas drinks. Then came home and cleaned my fridge out - I'm sure there were samples of things living in there that would have been more at home in a laboratory :rotfl:
So, jobs for today:
Hoover throughout (again)
Vax dining room and DS1's carpets
Put fresh bedding on spare bed and generally nake it welcoming/warm
Make a sausage casserole for tea
Take more photos of the stuff I'm selling on ebay and email them off to the "watchers"
Clean kitchen
Make soup using some limp looking celery and leeks.
Anything else that I see that needs doing.
Well, sitting here won't get any of that done, so I'll catch ya later at "tea break" maybe.

Morning all
Having a unexpected day in the office today which is well appreiciated - I was supposed to be in Peterborough (a looooonnng way from home) but all my customers seem to have decided christmas has arrived early and disappeared off the face of the earth so I decided to take an executive decision and stay in bed:rotfl:
Yesterday one of my office printers decided to start playing up and I had to quickly order a new one due to the amount of print work I have over the next few weeks - £697 later   the toners for the printer were more expensive than the new printer - I didnt have time to follow the usual mse rules tbh although I did a check on prices at costco then had to order from staples cos it was nearly 5 and I needed delivery today. So now sitting patiently waiting for what I expect to be a diamond encrusted laser printer:rotfl:(blimey how many Jimmys could I have got for that:D )
The last one did me for 3 years of pretty heavy printing so I suppose it all balances out
Blimey that was boring - sorry:o
If staples get here sharpish i may be nipping to M and S for some party bits but really need to get the microfibre cloths out and do some of that thing they call cleaning:eek:   either that or ill just turn all the lights out and have candles instead!!  :shhh:
Have a lovely day all and ((((((((((hugs)))))))) to all

 I have just been looking back through all my bank statements for the past 6 years (my online bank lets me do this). I can't believe how much I used to spend on non-essential items. One month, all the transactions that are on there were for Tesco! I know I used to work incredibly long hours in the beetroot factory (stop laughing), but still......................
Then there's all the transactions for really nice shops as well. Apparently, I used to shop in Monsoon on a regular basis! Nowadays, I think "that would be a nice treat" when I walk past!
Thank heavens for Money Saving Expert. Not only does it save you money, but it also saves your sanity!

Morning Everyone
(((((((((((((Lisa))))))))))))
Have got quite a bit done the last few days so am pleased. Finally managed to get on top of the washing and ironing, the Christmas tree is up, cards have been written and posted, some presents wrapped and the house has had a mini blitz.
Plans to today include w*** until this afternoon when I have had to take some time off to get my exhaust fixed - thankfully I have the money saved to do this.
Am not cooking much the next 2 weeks as OH and I are working odd hours and have a few social things coming up.
B - Cereal Bar & Satsuma's
L - Whatever I can grab from somewhere near to the garage
D - Something on toast
Have a good day everyone xxxIts nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -

Horrid morning, after Monday night slept in this morning 9.20 before OH woke up.
Dull and dank again today, we have a going out afternoon planned, library, Mr T's for a small fruit shop and then over to see my daughter for an hour, back home for chicken salad for supper.
Tomorrow I plan to attack Aldi for one or two bits we need from there.
:coffee:calls, have a good day................
