any progress on your tunnel Pippi?
Not much, I need money to buy what I need - will work out from that pay what I can afford to do - the frame will take alot of work better make that a priority - but need £100 (give or take a few penny) to do thatPippi, of course you don't sound stingy! You just don't have the money, which is a bit different!
Hugs to you and starnac both for missing the little ones -even yours are still little really, Pippi
But very LOL at Mr S leaving you snoring
Very true KC and they do know - all fine I think!
Indeed I did complain!
Although both mine are bigger than me - I think they are little too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mr s left me snoring! (blushes!) He left you because you needed the res!
OK hmm, banks and the money bit!
£64 left in RBs fat controller (OH put in money and random money came from cheque paid in) - all other dd's out on 15th - £113, but that will be when other money goes in (we hope)
£30 in Lloyds smurfette (nowt to come out of there, nowt to go in there til Mr s contribution later in month)
CC - LLoyds - £20 left
Captial one - £49 left
This all needs a bit of work doesn't it? Well yes it does but you have 6 weeks to really crack now don't you. Ebay here you come!!!!
Need to pay penguin face at least £100 this month
Er no you WANT to pay him £100 this month. Did you ever sign a written agreement of repayment. Oh not that would be him saying yeah pay me back whenever wouldn't it. HE IS NOT A PRIORITY BILL. Not paying the min payments on your cards, or not having all of the rent are priority bills that NEED to be paid!!!!!
Now washing out - a bit of tidying and then off into town for the afternoon a bit of voluntry work (but strategic talking about potentially getting paid in veggies and plants whilst I'm not paid in money and use of a tunnel to grow food whilst mine isn't up)
Did that make any sense?probably not!

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

DD knows she's always going to be my baby, even when she's 56 and I'm a lot older than that0

You sound very organised and motivated to me Pippi, not stingy at all. If I visit people I tend to take food along with me. Partly because I am veggie and they never know what to cook (I think people get overwhelmed with veggies, I would eat the same as them less the meat so no idea why) and partly because it makes ME feel better about imposing on their hospitality. That said I never offer to wash the dishes but will always dry them.

I agree with Chev here. Don't forget he's only demanding the money back now cos he was an idiot.
A thought though - would you struggle finding the £100 to pay him? as in would you miss any other payments; starve etc?
If not then why don't you use that £100 for the tunnel?Tell him it's an investment as when you start growing and selling things in there then he'll get his money back quicker.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Now there's a great idea starnac...investing in the future will help you to bring in more money, and make you happier..result!!!
Pippi, best let me have your list of things you want soonish, or text me, as I probably won't have access to internet while I'm away.
We head north of the border next Tuesday to loverly (!) Kdy and environs, before heading north on the following Saturday.
Been in the garden most of the day weeding and tidying up. DS2 has cut our hedges, having rooted out all the masses of nettles and bindweed beforehand so he could get close enough. It looks quite neat now (in parts:o).
We have another few days to try and get things sorted before we go, I have neglected things far too long and it has all got out of hand recently. Still we have made a start!
Have a lovely evening all. I may well head out into the garden for a bit more tidying...or may stay in and do some sewing...decisions, decisions! :rotfl:

Pippi don't let him bully you into paying him £100 if you can't afford it. Did you sign up for Vivatic? I'm averaging about £20 a month with them (they take 20p per tenner as a fee), I know its not a lot but might help you chip away at things. What about Freecycle? Anything on there that would help build your tunnel?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
