    Pippi, you're back! Welcome! (((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))))))))

Really missed you! Sounds like a scary money situation, and scary sproggle-less situation .... but, you know, you can use this time to work on the finances and the life plan. I'll be interested to read about it (and contribute as much as I can).

EDIT - just realised from Cheery's post below, what you meant about the no stripey shop - rats! Sorry to hear that ...

HI Pippi, nice to have you back. You still need someone for house-sitting? OH (bless him he's slowly coming out of the evil situation we've been in and starting to concentrate on us now), said to me, "did you post the diary to Pippi? If she needs house sitters, tell her we'll do a stripey shop for her before heading up" (he remembers me telling him about the time we met up when you were down 2 years ago (yep, 2 years ago doesn't time fly!)
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

((pippi)))))) Remember bank accounts are more likely to peskily misbehave when you're not watching them - beady eyes all round now you're back I say! :T :T

We can do some stripy sock shopping in Inverness if that's any use! :p (as long as it involves scone ingrediments too of course :T :T)

Welcome back Pippi, glad you had a good (if scary) time away.

We too are happy to do a stripey shop for you, just give us a list! Ooh, we'll be with you in two weeks time..can't wait! :j Leaving for Kdy next Tuesday (20th), so can do all manner of shops if you want, before we leave here, or in Fife/Inverness/Wick :D

Right off to get some bits done...too hot to garden atm (sorry!). Pottering about indoors for now, having done some work in the greenhouse this morning before going out to see a friend. Will get back out there once it gets cooler.

What's the best way to get rid of whitefly...seems I have a mega infestation atm and the peppers are looking decidedly sad and wrinkly...looks a bit virusy too...contemplating getting rid of all my peppers and toms...only just started to plant out the toms into growbags, they are so pot-bound...silly me! :(

Let me know what you'd like us to get for your supplies.

Pippi you're going to have more stripy socks shopping than you know what to do with! :D :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was outside with the builder this morning and discovered a second crop of rhubarb! :T :T :T I LOVE rhubarb - and it reminded me that I never actually ate most of the first lot - just cut it up and put it in the freezer - which I haven't been in once for months :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

glad to see you back here Pippi, sorry that the little stripes have been sent off to purgatory aka their stupid fathers.
  • Hey chapses.

Funny old day here bright but cold.

Decided to combine trips into office with reduced foraging - I'm not going to be in town as much, figure this is a good routine to get into.
    Netted 6x 35p bread
    Broccoli - 25p
    Mixed veg - 25p

Omelettes for tea - free eggs :)

Out for a cycle, 4 miles? Maybe, then did reduced shop at co-op in other town by cycle
    2x10p milks
    2x10p pork pies (for chooks)
    1x bagels
2 x fajhita kits (tortillas, salsa, spicy stuff) 1.49 each - spicy stuff is normally 89p, tortillas about £1 that's worth it, kids love those.

So thinking/trying to sort new routine. Eating from house, more exercise, combining trips, reduced bargain foraging only when out.

Keiss, I shower my plants heavily when have greenfly, don't often get whitefly without wooly hats up here xx but I'll ask at work.

Cheery yay to rhubarb and builders actually turning up.

Thank you both, I have my list and will ask you to top up the stripey socks shop, we are lost without it!!

Oh put £50 in for travel money
    £2 for eggs today

Asked to do sone extra work tomorrow and invigilating in aug.

Not touched the unpacking - tomorrow's job with a bit of eBay, I have cuttings ready to list etc

    Hope you are all good!!
