Evening Pippi! Good to hear from you
and a bargainous haul from the shops.
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Gosh that was an energetic post. Sounds lovely day. Like the idea of a cycle ride. Is now a good time to confess that I havent ridden a bike since I was 11? That was my sister's christmas present. I was banned because I fell off and scratched it. It didnt have gears in those days. Not sure I could manage a bike nowadays. Mr C keeps asking me go out with him (he has 2 bikes - one mountain and one tri something or other - dont ask, it involves his Dad and is a long story of rebellion) but I keep finding excuses.
Tonight I went on a very long walk with Moo out of the village on a never before taken road. I found bulls in a field and a farmhouse selling eggs. Guess where I am heading tomorrow with my purse. It was rather nice. We are both exhausted now though. Moo is snoring away and I am collapsed in bed. Mr C just rang - he is not coming home tonight so a whole bed to myselfSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

We are doing ok. I have finally got of my arris to look for another house to rent. We have found a couple that are cheaper and smaller, so am trying very hard to get rid of stuff. Have managed two bags to the charity shop i work at and 1 to the rag bank. thing is there is so much to sell off:o:eek:.
We alll had the horrid lurgy so were flat on our backs for some of the last 3 weeks SIGH. Still finally coming to the end of that now! Having been very down in the dumps about living here, I am feeling a bit more positive now. I think it is because I know we are going to be leaving this house. It is so cold, and I hate being cold through no choice (the seals have failed on the windows so get draughts all the time). Now I know I will be moving, even if we haven't found the place yet, it is good.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

welcome home Pippi,
glad you had a lovely time. boo to kids being away. I'm lost without my DD. She went to a friend's house after school a couple of weeks ago for tea and I clock watched the whole time (bet she didn't think about me once) You'd think I'd be grateful of a bit of time to myself but no. I know going to a friend's house for tea (who lives in the next street) is a bit different to being gone a whole 6 weeks in another country but in my defence DD is only 3yo

I hope I have the same close relationship with DD (and soon to be DS) when they are older like you do with yours. but yes they will be having fun (and they'll appreciate you all the more when they get home
)
evil work is still there but week off next week and then only 7 weeks left after that then off for 9 months!!! :j I am trying to make plans so that I won't have to go back at all. They are coming on slowly but I do have a while before they need to be put into action.
so lovely to have woken up to Mr S this morning. Lucky lucky you not lazy lazy you at all. Take that back at once!! :rotfl: sounds like you've got enough on today anywayGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Yay to new ds and work finishing soon and cunning plans! You'll definitely have a great time with them both -
Mr s left me snoring! (blushes!)
OK hmm, banks and the money bit!
£64 left in RBs fat controller (OH put in money and random money came from cheque paid in) - all other dd's out on 15th - £113, but that will be when other money goes in (we hope)
£30 in Lloyds smurfette (nowt to come out of there, nowt to go in there til Mr s contribution later in month)
CC - LLoyds - £20 left
Captial one - £49 left
This all needs a bit of work doesn't it?
Need find out how much web design will have cost so far - the money for the invigilating is potentially my last 'big' sum for a while
Need to pay penguin face at least £100 this month
Need pay cc's as much as possible
Need not do any shopping aside reduced meat/cheese/milk/bread/veggies and eat out of the freezer
sil and I talked about them staying and they are bringing stuff and doing a £50+ Mr T voucher which I can at least double by reduced shopping with it - that will help me loads, and I've ran the teas past her we have here - so there shouldn't be any major expensive costs from that - I don't want to sound stingy - but I have to maximise my food/money and that will work if we all sing from same songsheet - she's happy and I'm happy!
Now washing out - a bit of tidying and then off into town for the afternoon a bit of voluntry work (but strategic talking about potentially getting paid in veggies and plants whilst I'm not paid in money and use of a tunnel to grow food whilst mine isn't up)
Did that make any sense?probably not!
