    Lucielle I've pm'd ya :)

Keiss, now in a certain Italian restaurant last night one of the ladies had a birthday.........? Wonder if it was her????!!

Thanks for the diary uni, kk we did spoil him, cheery actually - we didn't go ape. On a stroke of genius OH found a local cliff chain walk (bit scary) which was free and very near, so in the spirit of MSE we did a free adventure, local and took a picnic, saving, I'm ashamed to say we'd spend this on a birthday treat um, we prob saved or should I say didn't spend nearly £200 (120 go ape, 25 petrol, 30 bit lunch, £18 gloves etc and that's without hitting gift shop). That's scary!

Cheri it is hot isn't it!,, I'm making the most of it!

Kc we were going to a special 'go ape' place, organised stuff treetop climbing with harnesses etc, great fun but ver pricey, in the end we did a free thing instead.

    Yippee

OH very pleased we got 'rise against' tickets for him for his birthday :) and a box of maltesers he does like malteasers.

:) right, car to pack, directions to find........

That sounds brilliant, Pippi! If the free stuff was enough to scare you, then you didn't need to pay out £200  to get a buzz, did you :)

Sounds like more adventures ahoy :)

Nope...they went out for lunch, then had a quiet evening in. All the Fife-based family met up at MIL's on the Sunday...there are loads of them, so was a good do!! She is over from Canada for a few weeks, so was a great way to catch up with everyone.

If your dad is a lang-toon lad Pippi...then my MIL will probably know him...she knows everyone from Kdy, scary but true...well, it seems like it!! :D She always seems to find people who know someone she knows...no matter where in the world she goes! :rotfl:

Been playing with my cv the past couple of days...may well be applying for a part-time job tomorrow..you never know! ;)

Hope you are still having a fab holiday doon sooth Pippi and getting some nice warm days.

Getting the winter woollies ready for our trip north in a couple of weeks time :o

Thanks MatyMoo, handed in the application form yesterday, fingers crossed. Also got the paperwork all signed at (my soon to be ex-)work, so I should soon be officiallly redundant and will get my money paid within the next couple of weeks :j.

I am going to be good and put most of it away and use it to fund stuff for my new crafting business. If things get really tight money-wise, at least I know we will have this as a cushion. Going to pretend I don't have it most of the time so it doesn't disappear before I know it.
    :o

It's only just over a week before we head north, so want to get some sewing done before we go and organise various projects I can do while I am away. Also need to get lots done in the garden...so many things need to be planted out before we go. DS1 will be home to water them, so that's good.

At this rate, I don't really have enough time to have a "proper" job!

Have a great weekend everyone, wherever you are, and whatever the weather.
