Hello everyone else - I'm whooshing in and out today, got my parents coming down sometime this afternoon and the house is a total shambles........and I'm working, with tons to do, but hey, it's sunny, I can hear a lovely bird (must listen to our new RSPB CD of birdsong to find out what the heck it is, but its lovely anyway) and I'm hoping to tempt OH over for lunch

Kids zonked out with their adopted cousin, we've hit a few charity shops today and bought couple frocks(£3)
Cheery pentland ferries is almost half the price of north link ATM, they up the fares at peak season the sneaky suckers, pentland don't.

Oh, my bestestest news today is that my lovely pal (radley addict) gave me one of her purses with flowers and a stripey peedie in it (she's got 4(!)!) I nearly burst into tears!!!!! So kind, I think she liked the bag and is confused (thinks I'm turning into a girl).

We are bumming about in central Scotland for a couple days then heading to Englandshire early next weektree climbing, laser shooting (kids not me), forest walks, cinema, beaches, friends and maybe indoor skiing too not sure yet

Hey Pippi, glad you arrived safely. I am the same as you getting into it all when away!. Lovely that you have the purse from your friend. I have always found that any purses given to me as gifts are never empty (even if only a few pennies). Therefore I never buy my own purse and regularly have them falling to pieces ! Enjoy the trip.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Like everyone else - glad to hear that the journey went off OK - and hurrah to fab purses! What a lovely gift (much needed by the sound of it!)
