Thank you all LT grand for the stripey vibes and that and VL - thank you and I meant to say thank you for the lovely comment re the cellist!

OK bank money update - and now for the money bit -

NOT paid - that is a bit of a booger - waiting for 39 hours from one set invigilating and 25 hours from the other set. (ARGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGH)

They pay on wednesdays and nowt in the bank (well £113 of the overdraft left to be precise in the fat controller (Rbs) and smuffette central (LLoyds) has £290 of the overdraft left which is part of the rent money (£542) waiting for WTFC too which can be any amount (?????) as I've changed my claim and won't land til the 30th (Thurs)

    LLoyds CC - 804/1000 - e.g. £196 left in that
    Capital one - 1511/2100 - e.g. £548 left on that

OK action plan - ferry book on cc and get petrol on cc on way down. Tell mum today can we have bro ferry fare into bank pls
Put the £135 (left of the £150) after yesterdays treats whoops - in the bank for the rent (290+130=420) - with the £113 thats in there we're almost there (533) - need to find £9 from somewhere
Ah ha - two cheques here from plants which comes to £13 - that will pay for that - will check paypal account too (NOWT in there gamerface spent the last of it and owes me a tenner!)
Aunty Wik mailing a 5p off petrol voucher to OH (won't get here in time) and I'll top up with that when in central scottieland (thank you wik)
Gamerchop owe me a £10 - will claim that :)

OK rent scraped together (kinda) but leaves NO cash - until WTFC hits bank (whatever that is??) on Thurs, rent due on Friday - what on earth and I worrying about eh? (LOL) talk about by the skin of your teeth.

Argh - time for a cuppa

    Patchwork income in June
    £150 cleaning - recieved - do another 3-4 hours today (£30-40)
£375 teaching (for over the year so a bit of a cheat!) - recieved
    £576 invigilation money - waiting
    £39.75 plant money - waiting
    £45 - gardening (waiting)

    Patchwork income total for June
    fanfare
    £1195.75
Egg money = £27 - but that keeps the gals in special hen food and their nutrients topped up so I don't count that - but not too shoddy eh?

There you go whilst I'm poor and scraping rent together - June has been a good patchwork month :) YAY and its really not that much I guess as the teachign was over 2 years it just happenned to get paid in June!

Poor but smiling - off to look for lose change to see if we have anything lying about, you know the odd hundred down the sofa etc

Then I have to do my going away list - ergh!

Well done! We were out all day yesterday but I did wear stripy socks and, as we were up in the wilds of the dales, thought of you as there were sheep everywhere!

That's a great achievement and you must be so glad to be finished. Is it worth keeping in touch with yesterday's guy? Perhaps just a 'thank you' email. I know you just want it to be over but contacts can be useful in the future.

    Have a great holiday.

PS We met a chicken named Charlotte who has a penchant for hiding in people's cars and travelling. She has been returned from 30 miles away twice this year already. She lives here. Excellent gardens.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Wow, Pippi, you managed it! Patchwork indeed, a beautiful piece with many patches, and beautiful strands of embroidery in there too (thats the eggs from the girls :) ). Considering this is all done while you were, you know, becoming a Mistress of Flowers :) you'll do even better now ....

    Hope the cleaning flies by!
