Oh, and have a good meeting."Green pastures are before me,

Satchmo - good luck at work with being a witness.
SA - good luck with your meeting, looking forward to your next report on the Fatties, chocolate, MrT's adventures, chocolate, Wicked Witch of the North, chocolate, Trees, chocolate, Wimpy Boy, chocolate, life in general, chocolate. Did I mention the chocolate?:rotfl:0 -
Did someone say chocolate?:o
Ps Good luck Satchmo. Well done in saying something. When I was bullied years ago i walked. It was my first graduate job in a bank and my colleagues took up a greviance on my behalf even though i had left and she was sacked!!! Yay for justice.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hi all
Thanks for the support - meeting went well, and I feel so much lighter for getting the evidence onto the table, and managing to present my grievance letter and notes from January. The current PA is on stress related sick leave for two weeks, but I'm in contact and we have been mutually supportive.
SA hope your meeting was productive. Do you get expenses for HA meetings (current HMRC guidelines are 45p per mile, which takes into account fuel and wear & tear)?
Hugs all round, Satchmo xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Glad it went went well satchmo.

Hi Guys,
Sorry, I was late getting back yesterday and didn't manage to log back on.
Well done satchmo on braving it out. I am all for speaking up and speaking out - it has cost me dearly at times but I strongly believe in fairness and don't like bullying or favouritism one little bit.
Meeting went well and I had to stay later to discuss the new Chairmanship. I take over from next month and we went through how I am going to manage it with my full time job as well. Luckily, with only MrT at home I can spend time on it in the evenings once I get my laptop. Yes, I do get expenses, they are very good and it helps with the upkeep of little car, still going strong at 9 years of age and showing no sign of slowing
I am leaving chocolate department and moving to another area of the business (thank heavens) I will be able to get my waistline back.
I will tell you more in a week or so when the dust has settled and I am safely in the new office.
Noise equipment was taken away yesterday without anything really being monitored, except for the constant gathering of kids outside. Noiseman was very good though and left his card. As soon as anything kicks off then he will bring it back asap. Nice and quiet at the moment, I am pleased to say.
Tree news - local Councillor has taken up the cause after coming down to have a look. He has emailed the manager that I spoke to on Tuesday and having received a very bland reply about it being felled sometime never, has replied asking for a date. He means business! Like me, he thinks it is dangerous and wants it gone. Another campaign successfully launched
MrT is marvellous again following wasp sting events of last week. I have ordered him a very smart winter coat to match his collar and lead - now I have just got to persuade him to put one foot in front of another whilst wearing said article - I just don't want him getting wet and cold like last Winter. It isn't a fashion statement, really
I pick up my new glasses tomorrow, hooray and very timely because a lens dropped out of one of my two old pairs last night. It fell on MrT who looked horrified - I think he thought one of my eyes had dropped out. I tried to finish reading the paper with one lens and went cross eyed.
Off to walk hound before my second last day at work. Woohoo. I really don't intend doing very much at all. Oh, joy of joys.....
Hugs

You know, maybe your current-soon-to-be-old manager isn't so bad and you should rethink this."Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"

The meeting sounds good, as does your efforts with the tree. I remember you basing your vote on what the candidates were going to do about this, so well done for keeping at them.
What a relief MrT is better. I do, however, feel for the poor pooch that he has to become a metrosexual hound because you are getting designer specs. Paris Hilton has a lot to answer for.
Lots of new starts for you, you lucky, lucky thing. Try not to gloat too much on your last two days with she-who-isn'g-going-to-be-obeyed. Although you will have seriously let the side down if you don't do some gloating. I do hope they give you a box of chocolates as a leaving present."Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
