Can't really tell you anything - I THINK it went OK, but they were interviewing someone else after me..... Who knows?
After previous shenanigans with this company I have learned to expect the unexpected :(

I promise I will let you know as soon as I can. They are ringing me sometime this afternoon.

I have been short paid for the second time in 5 months! My wages are £50 short, an awful lot of money when you are part-time. Here we go! AND... I broke a tooth yesterday on a boiled sweet so I will have to find some money for the dentist. Please don't let it be the start of one of my spells of bad luck.....

Glad the interview went OK. At least you don't have to wait too long to hear. And I hope we shall hear shortly after you do! Fingers crossed and all that.

Bad news about the pay and the tooth. It is NOT the start of a spell of bad luck ... don't you dare think such a thing. The pay will be sorted out - did it take long last time? So will the tooth be sorted, though I can see what a bu99er that is - is it painful?

Fingers still crossed (though stopped chewing), GRRRRR to short pay - not funny at all, hope they get it sorted. Don't worry about the dentist til you get there - not much you can do til then anyway.

Hope you have had some good news

    Good Morning,

YES, I am typing this at 3am! MrF has started making a noise on a nightly basis again - tonight it is games on his PlayStation, a loud buzzing noise (air purifier?) and loud conversations with MrsF. I got up and stamped about a bit, flushed the loo, and after a while they have turned it all off, but I am wide awake. This is my 3rd sleepless night this week. About 1.15am seems to be the key time for nocturnal activities downstairs. I think he needs to change his body clock.

Next door, I have a young couple who are having a major domestic row, not for the first time. That is all kicking off and I expect someone will be calling the Police again shortly. That is what normally happens. Who would want to be in a relationship like that, for heavens sake.

OH - Joy of Joys - I have given up, got up, made a cup of tea and am debating whether to go and do my cleaning job and see if I can take a nap afterwards.... :(

Anyway - back to more important things....

:D:D:D:D I have got the job! I got a phone call yesterday afternoon from my "new" manager saying I had been successful and that she "was delighted" that I would be joining her team.... cue fanfare.

Well, then it all started happening really fast ....

My current manager (on her last day before her hols) was typing up a job description for my job and sorting out a training schedule. It seems that they are going to advertise immediately and recruit in her absence to fill my position. As soon as she gets back I am able to transfer. The MD came up and congratulated me (:o) and said that he was anxious that things started moving forward as I was needed in the new office urgently :)

Young male colleague was a bit subdued - I think they are realising that the gobby old bag wasn't quite as bad as they made me out to be ;) We all knew that I was worth more than they were giving me credit for, didn't we?

So.... it looks like I shall be moving in the 1st or 2nd week of September. I am chuffed, I really am. The pay is better, the distance shorter and the people nicer - couldn't wish for more, really.

The tooth isn't giving me any grief, thank heavens, but is a bit weird to the touch. I have bought my appointment forward and am seeing my dentist early next week and I am sure she will sort it all out for me then. And.... I will be reimbursed through a medical scheme at work. £47 saved! :T

I am going to have to wait until next payday for this months shortfall. I made it clear that I wasn't happy. I don't earn enough for the money to be less than what I am expecting. Being full time will make all the difference, with a set monthly sum, rather than dribs and drabs of overtime added on to a paltry basic wage. More money and less opportunity for c**k ups.

Not a lot more to tell. I think I will get dressed and venture into the night. How crazy is this - 3.30am - but at least it is doing something positive, rather than sitting here fuming.

    Speak soon,

    Hugs

Yes, Yes, YES! Congratulations. (Cue happy dance in my head - would still look ridiculous actually doing it.)

    Oh yes!

Apart from writing at that time of the morning, lots of good good things yesterday.

    Well done, you!

Hope you got some snooze time before having to get up again for work.

 Erm, don't forget the tooth money and the pay are being sorted, so is there really any need for this?
