yaay hooooooorah for new job :j:T:j
Really pleased you have more money, nearer office and nicer people... AND proved yourself in the process.
(thank you for the inspiration too, I have just seen a job near me I am going to apply for as have remembered it is possible I would be much happier there than trudging on at current one)
Booo to the noisy people, hope the HA sort them out. Good news re. dental scheme.
Also booo to waiting for pay adjustment - am not impressed, I would expect that to arrive immediately via separate payment together with an apology. But as you will have set pay in new job probably not worth insisting too drastically at this point.

Hurrah, sorry I didnt log on at all yesterday as I was here there and everywhere (rolls eyes). I am really pleased that you have the new job which is closer to home and with nicer people and more money:j As for young whippersnapper in the old office it will soon be noted that he is lazy and that you were basically carrying him.
As for the Fatties - start your diary again and report them, they need to understand that other people have lives and they need their sleep.
I have some new neighbours upstairs - seems that the girl who was up there has done a bunk. These seem to be two well dressed young men but they are nto used to living in a flat because they clunk about all the time, slam doors and talk loudly and why do they have to make so much noise going up and down stairs is beyond me? There will be other tenants moving into Flat 8 and new ones in Flat 1 soon. I am the original person left here and I have renewed my tenancy agreement for a further 12 months (rent hasnt gone up either:j)0 -
Just have to say a massive congrats on the job!
And now I need to get some sleep - hope you can too.Miggy

Good Morning...... Sorry, Good Afternoon...
I don't know where time is going but it is going pretty darn fast. As I have been full time at work this week I have been playing catch up this weekend.
I spent the day yesterday cleaning, shopping and geting ready for next week. Had a visit from friend and watched Harry Potter and woke up 3 hours later
My friend was mega pleased with my cleaning efforts and has paid as much as I hoped and a bit more! I was there again this morning for 3 hours, shampooing carpets - it looks Fab - U - LousThere was enough shampoo left over for me to do my ickle hallway and stairs - that has come up a treat as well. I used a new foam "Heavy Traffic" cleaner made by Vanish and it is brilliant - I thoroughly recommend it ( a can only costs £4 ) and it saves a fortune by not hiring a machine or getting a man in.
Lots of people have been congratulating me on my new job and they all seem genuinely pleased for me. I actually think that the general opinion is that I have been a bit hard done by and at last the tide is turning. I am so chuffed.
Well, the Fattys have gone quiet again. After the other night I was going to ask my Son in Law to come round and help me move my bedroom furniture into the second, smaller bedroom, but it is quiet so I will wait and see. I feel so different when I have been able to sleep at night. I know MrF is disabled and chooses not to leave his flat but it isn't fair that he uses the bedroom as a second living room and makes such a disruption through the night. It is beyond me how she sleeps in the same room. Strange.
The amount of kids outside has dropped dramatically - I wonder if I have missed a police visit or something like it? Hurrah, anyway :T
Not staying too long - I am off to give MrT a nice walk before settling down for the afternoon. He was a good boy this morning and had a Sunday Lie in while I went carpet cleaning. Lazy hound...
Might or might not be back later. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone and hope it isn't too waterlogged wherever you are
Hugs

Helloo the sun is shining and i am going to clear some space in the garage for the freezer which is arriving on Wednesday. yay.
Hope you are ok.
Both you and Horace have some horrible neighbours. I hope they go away and leave you alone.
Did you see the rioting in London? it looks very frightening.
I am happy as i have some holiday left and i am going to see one of my best friends tomorrow. Have a good day.:)Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Good Morning everyone....
sw - I am so pleased you are finally getting a freezer. Just see what difference it makes to your spending/eating habits. Marvellous things!
Work was OK yesterday, just very quiet and therefore a bit boring. We are managing without managerwho is away on hols. After a few months in the job I am finally bonding with young colleague.
Just goes to show what a negative impact a certain person has had on the atmosphere in the office. He is a different person!
The Fatty family are still behaving and all is quiet. Perhaps it was just a blip last week. Typical bully behaviour in that when I stand up to them (stamping on the floor) they back down and behave. If I do nothing it just goes from bad to worse.
Having niggly second thoughts about going away to be perfectly honest. I just keep thinking about what other things I could do with the money instead of a short week away. Yes, it will be fun, but I could get a new TV, clothes and some furniture. Not rushing into any decisions, one way or the other, I will let life take its course and see where it leads me.
Not too much to tell you. Dentist tomorrow to sort out my broken toothIt is still not giving me any grief so I am hoping it will be a straight forward polyfilla job.... still involving large needles though - I am not a fan...
Speak soon,
Hugs
