  • Morning ladies and gents,

It's been ages since I posted on the OS board but I know I always get good advice, and I'm always lurking.
I have a question that I feel a bit daft asking but I know I'll get good advice here.
Can you make dumplings in a slow cooker? If so, do you just put them in with the rest of the casserole/stew?

Sorry to ask - even at 35 I'm reasonably new to cooking from scratch.

  • I agree with post two. The only problem I've had with them is if my sc is too full and the dumplings have risen!
  • Thankyou - much appreciated :D

They take a bit longer in the slow cooker than they do if you're cooking them in a stew on the stove but they're just as yummy and the stew is usually better!

20 - 30 minutes before serving depending on the size of the dumplings.
