hope everything's ok LT. Party was good last night. I'm very tired now though (not hungover promise). So now catching up with clicks, surveys and a little extra work as well. Taking things easy, have op next week and not looking forward to it.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. oh good luck for next week.
i'm cream crackered, we've had a good weekend though, been liberated from guilt and it's lovely.0 -
Morning, have overtime due to me later this week. The minimum payments on my debt have gone up so this extra money isn't going to go as far as I'd like.
but at least its going down. Going to see how much extra work I can do this week to see how much more I can shave off my debt. Its getting depressing all the changes (the minimum payment hike, energy prices going up etc.).
decided to see what other changes i can make to save money. Ebay has not been that successful for a while, even Vivatic has been slow (anyone else finding this?). Determined not to put the heating on (though think OH might put it on whilst I'm out instead of putting a jumper on! where's the warmer weather when you need it?). stepson moaning about what i'm making for dinner so decided he can have something else but i'm not going to major bother and if he starts he'll be getting told to pull his weight and stop moaning (he's an adult).
today is first proper day of no sweets/crisps/junk and its hard. I need to do this for 2 reasons.... 1 .....money and ...2..... my weight. Money going down and weight going up!
Spied a really good idea in Aldi, a mixed fruit pack! For 89p I got an orange, a pear, 2 red apples, a green apple and a plum. Perfect for packed lunches or for making a fruit salad.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. we handed back the lottie. I hate feeling that i've failed but the relief is a much stronger feeling.
well done for starting your diet. Mine starts either thursday or friday, probably friday because i'm in a meeting all afternoon so won't be obsessing about food. I'm doing my first ever 5 day really strict wean myself off sugar etc diet. I've been reading a lot and i've come to the conclusion that i'm addicted to sugar specifically and food in general.0 -

LT, you've not failed. If you need a diet buddy i'll be here.
Not been feeling too well today, think its pre-op nerves. I am not looking forward to this tomorrow at all. Not done clicks today but have looked out some potential ppi stuff but not sure where to write to (as it was for store cards), so I've posted a question on the PPI thread.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. hope you get your answer about the ppi. sorry i can't help with that, i've had it on things but i've generally taken it knowingly.
Good luck for tomorrow, hope it all goes well, i'll be thinking of you.
thanks for the offer of a diet buddy, to be honest my first job is to actually go on one, not just say i'm going on one! i wish i knew someone who would pay me £1000 for every pound i lost that would motivate me more than anything else.0 -
Home, resting as pretty sore after op. No walking about. Quiet night for me.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. glad you're home safe and sound. Heal well my friend.0

Thanks LT, had quiet day still feeling quite sick when I move. First lot of stitches out in 10 days. Food is a complete no-no, I just can't face it.
Money should clear tomorrow so that's good news and I can clear a chunk of my debt. Made a little payment to C1 (just over a pound but every little helps), so will need to update totals.
Pretty tired but finding it hard to sleep as can't get comfy with the stitches..... Why is it after any op no matter what it is, 24 hours later you are so badly bruised and swollen that it looks worse than it actually is? I got a fright when I saw it today. But it's giving me a chance to rest even if I'm not sleeping.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
