great to see you feeling better, don't work too hard and don't start back too early otherwise you'll set yourself back.0

Thanks LT. I was pretty wiped out last night and couldn't get up this morning as I was so tired. OH worried about me, think he knows the situation has been too much for me. We've decided to concentrate on us, that may sound selfish but they are adults and if I could discuss half of what they've done you'd probably agree.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Its been a quiet few days, not really felt up to much as my stitches are driving me nuts. £10.50 in from extra work but will probably use that for some food shopping as don't get paid till monday.
I need to have a serious Ebay clear out shortly. My only concern is that when I last posted something that would normally sell (new with tags) it didn't sell. Is ebay any busier or is it a sign of the times that people are protesting every penny?
Will try and get some extra work done tonight as won't be able to on friday possibly and definitely not on saturday. Its nice I get paid weekly for that, it means a little extra to pay things off or top up food etc.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Diet is going well so my weight is starting to go down. Its not fair that all the nice things make you put on weight easily and then it takes ages to come off!

my diet is going ok as well. I felt terrible yesterday which could have been a few different things, but i'm really pleased with my weight loss so far, and the fact that as today is day 5 it's the end of the tortuous stage, i'm then onto the long term diety stage. Glad you and your OH have decided to concentrate on yourselves and not his monster children for a while.0

Thanks LT, his kids are adults and are set on wrecking not just our lives but that of the rest of the family as well.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. glad you've both decided to not let them wreck things.
How are you now? healing well? I'm feeling much better in myself now i've finished the tough 5 days of the diet i'm on.0 -
Getting there, hobbling less. Glad you're feeling better LT.
I have a dilemma at work, there was a big shake up and I lost the majority of my team. Only been left with a couple of people, then one of the projects we were involved in got a lot of bad publicity and some of the others weren't exactly kind and said basically they knew what was going to happen (my reaction was, well why didn't you warn me and/or the others?). I now have to pick up the pieces and re-build my team after all this negativity but I've been offered another team in another department on another site, it would mean less travel (15% less travel in time/money). Its doing roughly the same thing but for another department and I don't know what to do? If I cut and run I'll leave a lot of people in the lurch (and thats not me), part of me wants the challenge of staying and fighting my corner, rebuilding my team and starting again. I was suggested for this new role by my director (came out of the blue), my boss is fuming (he wasn't consulted) and the potential new boss wants me asap as he needs someone to take control there.
It won't mean anymore money but it will be less travel time and money, down side? I don't know anyone on that site bar one person and they aren't friends iyswim. The parking at the other site is much easier (no multi-storey to contend with or parking charges). I really don't know what to do.

I know I shouldn't be playing the lottery when I have debts, but I've just won £14 (£15 but minus a £1 for my ticket) :j, guess where thats going? :rotfl:CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Lurker alert, I've subscribed to your diary and occasionally post on Stripes'. My thoughts for what they're worth, if this was a friend asking your advice on this situation, what would you advise? If it was one of you team who'd got the chance would they think twice about leaving? Hope this helps, not sure if it does, but I'll go back to lurking.
