my resolution LT is to sort out my finances. Have some stuff to go on to ebay but doesn't look like it will sell for much. Must go through old paperwork and see if I'm due any ppi claims (not sure I am) but will see.

if your work boards are anything like ours at the moment, everyone is listing things to sell rather than actually buying things. must be the time of year lol

I bit the bullet LT and have listed on ebay instead for one thing, I may list the rest over the weekend. Tired tonight and this is only a short update before i go to bed before it gets any later. My moisturiser arrived, half the normal price and I'm well chuffed.

    Anyway:-

    Today I have

    done clicks
    updated diary
    listed one ebay thing
bought new can opener (remind me and I'll post the story tomorrow)
make packed lunches for tomorrow (must remember nibbles too and they are what's costing me a fortune)
put primark stuff in car to take back

    ....and cleaned the bathroom

Signing off now, night night all

    Morning All, how is everyone?

I've been lurking on the pay all your debt by xmas thread, now there's no way i can pay all my debt by then (short of a miracle). But I've started a spreadsheet (last night) with the total as 100% and this morning I paid £1.88 (my Quidco money) to Egg/BC (I'll update the total shortly on here). That takes my total down a bit but at least I can see even a few pounds will make a dent in the percentage.

I have tomorrow off and intend to have a lie in (SS can go pick up OH), I need it as I am so tired. Remembered the majorty of my packed lunch today, I forgot my crisps though. I went to Home Bargains last night to get a new tin opener and saw single bags of crisps for 15p (works out cheaper than the multi-packs) so they'll do for mine and OH's packed lunches. But today's packed lunch since I forgot my crisps is cheese and pickle sandwich, 2 satsumas and 2 mince pies (29 left now).

Well done on setting up a spreadsheet Unix....it's good to see your money going down.

You can also have one to keep a track of all your spendings...I have three :o:eek::eek:!!
One is for regular in's and outs: DDs and SO and pays in. Another is for all credit/debit card/cheque/cash outgoings, and a third for my crafting stuff. I could almalgamate them, but happy with what we have atm :D

I have the washing out on the line atm...and yes it is still all there!! The sun is actually out so looks rather nice....if you don't try and venture out that is...still rather breezy :o. DS1 took yesterday's washing in, found an empty coat-hanger and didn't think to look for the blouse that had been on it! DH found it later...I was out working, invigilating at my local college.

Have a nice day today, and an extra special one tomorrow on your day off.

hope you enjoy your day off, i'm not in tomorrow either but mine is for a minor (hopefully) procedure at the Hosp. so not much fun.
I'd like to be clear of mad mavis by the end of this year but unless i can save another 200 squids each month (pretty much) then it won't happen, and once we're in the new house all the money i had been saving of late will be paying off the increased mortgage.

Hope all goes well for tomorrow LT. Do you do surveys at the moment? If not then you could do these to help you pay off Mad mavis. Or a car boot sale before you move and put the proceeds into Mad mavis.

I ventured out at lunch to return to items to primark. So got £15 of that back, some of that money will need to be used to replace a christmas present (not their thing) but the rest is mine and will be going to Egg/BC. My next direct debit for this is now 1st of Feb but hoping the remainder will be clear by then. I am hoping once its clear they will offer me a card (I was one of the unfortunate souls who got their egg card taken off them) and I can use that to balance transfer some of my higher apr stuff.
