Hi LT, yes the sponges with the green layer!

Have written the neighbours cards but not posted them through the doors yet. Even written one for the lady I don't like, she's sent hers (us and one other neighbour were the only ones not to get one) but decided to be the bigger person

Thank you so much for your lovely card it's beautiful. the voucher will certainly be used as i've found some lamp shades in there which are half price in there but are still £18 each, so i'll go and pick up two of them for the living room and something else to easily reach the £40 spend amount. Once again thank you so very much.
My cards still haven't been written, may just add a little note to our change of address cards to explain and send new year wishes.

Hya all, hope you had a good Christmas xx

Back home from Scotland tonight, so doing a bit of catching up while the first of many loads of washing gets done. :D

Had a lovely time, though it was rather breezy up north!! Not good in a high-sided car with a roofbox  ! We managed to see a few relations and catch up with some friends...a lovely time was had by all. I managed not to wear a coat the whole time we were there...didn't go out very often admittedly, but it was rather warm...quite surreal at Christmas!!!

Hope you managed to have a few nice moments to yourself Unix...how are things?

Must plough on with checking all my emails etc...it has all fairly mounted up in the few days we have been away. :o

Will be back soon...take care everyone xxx

Hope that you were able to do some thinking over the xmas period. And that madam didn't cause a scene, or SS for that matter, or OH.

I hope that you are able to take the direction YOU want to take in 2012.

Thanks Guys, sorry for going AWOL for a few days. The exhaust fell off my car yesterday (not happy), had been up to get it fixed and they didn't have the parts so its off the road till saturday. Had nice christmas day with OH, Mum, SS and Gran. SD tried to ruin it but just ignored her (and no she wasn't invited).

Sorting out finances at moment (seeing what needs paid etc), have £120 going out I can't account for. Will probably remember.

    How is everyone?

hope you remember what the £120 is, it's my payday today so i can update all my accounts when i get home which will keep me busy for a little while.

well done for ignoring SD, she'll get the hint one day.

I'm hoping she'll take the hint LT, we didn't get her a birthday or christmas present. That might sound very cruel but for those that remember what happened will understand, for those that don't she sells everything in sight. I saw her whilst doing last minute xmas shopping with a colleague from work, I had to do a double take as she's changed her hair drastically, I said hello and she ignored me and just smirked. I told OH but he said ignore it.

SS went off on a complete rant last night, I'd gone out to drop OH off forgot my keys and tried to call him to move cars round as he was first one out this morning and i didn't fancy getting up at quarter past six. Phone switched off, so left car outside neighbours (we don't have pavements or the like) and rang the door bell. He went off on one, shouting screaming, kicking things. Turns out he was watching the football and didn't want to be disturbed! Boo hoo. I was fuming, got in the house told him to shut up and stop the strop otherwise I'd cancel the football, I nearly took the livingroom door off its hinges slamming it. His face fell, I think he's wondering if I'll tell OH (not seen him since last night due to work as I left before he got home).

On a more positive note I've decided to be sensible and start using up what I've got food wise. So soup and egg sandwiches for tea tonight. Lunch is a jar of pate and crackers.

Got some bargains in Morrisons last night, they are selling off all their gift sets (£10 ones) for £2.48. So I grabbed a few.
