can i ask a semi-random question? when you move do you have to take your sky dish with you? or do you have to pay to get it installed again? hope you don't mind the question.0
-
Hi LT, you don't have to take it with you. Call them before you move (if you have Sky already) if you don't and you want Sky in your new place I can give you one of my vouchers (for half-price Sky for a year and free install). The voucher is valid for booking until 14th December however as long as you book an install by the 14th December you can have it put in anytime up to mid Jan. Hope this helps.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. i'm tempted to get OH to get sky as a new customer for the offer and then give notice on my name at this address. Is that norty of me?0

Its not norty at all, its sensible!
I'll email you a code when I get to work tomorrow along with instructions. If you haven't got an email by about 11, throw something at me to remind me
.
The repairs on my poor car should start at the end of the week. Police have taken statements and I'm hoping the little ****'s have karma (as well as the law) come for them. I'm sure they wouldn't like their stuff getting wrecked would they? A lady at my work had her brand new car stolen this morning from her driveway (had left keys in it heating up), her insurance have told her they're not paying out.
Have bank to chase up, a few emails to send, sort out my clothes for the morning and then bed. Up at 5.
Anyone know where I can get a cheap linen basket? Need one for a hamper and the last place I used went bust.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. sorry not sure where to get a linen hamper. insurance companies are getting hotter on the not paying out if you've left the keys in the car, just a sign of the times.
thanks for the sky info. we're not likely to be in before mid Jan but we can try to blag a bit of an extension. I'm not sure how far in advance you know when your exchange and completion dates are.0 -
Will send you the code and give them a call, explain your predicament (sp?) about moving dates etc and it should work outCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Debt busting - not going well
OH - Feel like busting him
Lent (sp?) dress out - not returned on time and poor excuse now no contact
Realised I have hairdressers next week and I'm skint, and her next appointment is January! SS decided to stop paying dig money and he'll pay it monthly (that was the agreement but he was supposed to pay upto when he gets his first monthly pay (23rd same day as me). Car needs MOT'd, no sign of repairs yet (£70).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Then he's just made himself homeless. If OH has a problem with that, he can either stump up or join him.unixgirluk wrote: »Car needs MOT'd, no sign of repairs yet (£70).

i guess you've now got room for your new lodger that SS will be moving out for lack of board payment.
my car was serviced yesterday so i'm £153 quid poorerand unfortunately the sump under the engine is about to go so he's going to try and find one at the breakers yard - fingers crossed.
have you asked your OH for the hairdressers money for a christmas pressy? its the least he could do after all the stuff he puts you through.0 -
Don't know what to say really. Others have already said it. I wouldn't have SS in the house with his attitude but then I would have your OH either so.....I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
