Thanks Wordsmith. Actually had time to throw together a packed lunch this morning (I know i should have done it last night), but at least I can start to curb my expenditure during the day...... it was starting to get out of control and the canteen here is quite expensive.

...succumbed to buying a yoghurt from said canteen to go with packed lunch (the fridge in here isn't to be used to store packed lunches , only the milk they provide for tea and coffee), so 50p spent.

At this rate i might actually lose some weight as well as gaining money!

well done for sorting out your lunch, i always make mine in the morning but that's just because i'm perpetually disorganised. worked from a different location today which meant i was picked up to travel there and back which has saved me £8. I guess i should save that if only it's cash £8 rather than just £8 which i wouldn't have put on my credit card this month to pay off next. I do feel i should do something to acknowledge it though.

Hey Unix - glad today is better. I have a notebook for quotes and I carry it with me all the time. I put all kinds in there and often read it back. My diary is littered with quotes too, I find that it helps me to focus and cheers me up. I also love poetry.

Well done on the packed lunch. Can you get one of those little cool bags to keep the yoghurts in rather than having to buy it from the canteen. If you put it into the cool bag frozen would it have thawed out in time for lunch? Can you tell I dont eat yoghurts :)

hey unixgirl nice to see you have your own space to vent now, and to tell us the good things too!

Are you family on board with the debt busting or is that one of the issues?

why don't you put a fiver to your debt and take the remaining £3 and treat yourself? That way you get to mark it by paying a few pounds to your debt and get a small treat. My little treat lasty month was a cheap nail varnish.

Ok its a lovely day here and I'm determined not to let 'stuff' drag me down. Here's my to do list for today:-

    check bank balance
    clicks
    surveys
    work and extra work

The clicks/surveys and extra work i can't do until tonight. Off to get a cuppa :coffee:, I need caffeine! :o.
