Morning All, how long does it take for a refund to go back onto a debit card? I had a refund put on to my Visa debit card yesterday and its still not showing.

I think he knows he's on thin ice Dragon. I'm just ignoring it for the moment. My blood pressure is more important.

Picking up new jeans today (badly needed a new pair), ordered through Quidco. Yes, its a splurge but necessary. Have card order for this week and one for next week (confirmed) so that £6. which is have the cost of my jeans.

Very strange encounter at lunchtime. I went to shopping centre and parked the car and paid for parking ticket. I went to M&S to pick up my jeans (I really hope they are a good fit, I find it hard to get jeans that come up onto my waist yet fit curvy hips), got them and went back to the car. I was parked next to the ticket machine and offered my parking ticket (as it still had 2 hours on it as you have to pay a minimum amount) to this lady about to purchase a ticket. She looked at me very strangely then said yes and I gave her the ticket and she flung money at me. Got out of car and said I wasn't looking for money for the ticket at all, she just said she could afford it so would pay! ..... How strange is that????!!!

now that's very weird! never heard of anything like that before. I've always offered tickets with good amounts of time on them and accepted them graciously when offered one. There's nowt as strange as folk!

It is weird isn't it? She obviously either had more money than sense or no one had ever done anything nice for her.

Making cards tonight, not long back from dropping OH off. He's having a bad day, talking about SD and her lot and how he 'misses' them. I refuse to comment now, no point he knows how I feel and I've told him if he keeps entertaining any of them he'll end up in a straight jacket or an early grave. He's barely sleeping as it is and I've only just managed to get him to start eating again. I asked him a long time ago if he saw a friend going through the same situation and it was having such an effect on them what would he do? He said he'd tell them to cut that whole group out of his life and move on. There's no picking and choosing sometimes in life, that was his words....shame he can't take his own advice!

Anyway, I'm off back to card making. Night LT, Dragon and anyone else thats lurking.
