yay to getting vouchers with a discount, it's all a bonus and all helps.
Lovely money from your second job, that's great news0 -

ok my list for tonight was:-
[STRIKE]clicks
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]surveys
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]2nd job
[/STRIKE]look out white gloss paint (to paint a piece of wood to go above the front door to put a curtain rail on)
[STRIKE]iron some clothes
[/STRIKE]
will look for the gloss paint tomorrow. 2nd job didn't bring in a lot tonight (very little in fact but its better than 0).
OH's daughter at it again that we should feel sorry for her, its the same story yet she does nothing to help herself yet gets so many chances and help and flings it back in people's faces . Told OH no more as fed up hearing it. Is that harsh? The rest of his family telling him the same not to be taken in by it, I want a life and she isn't happy unless she's causing upset and mayhem.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. hi, hope you found some paint. if i wasn't so far away i'd offer you some of ours we have plenty of white gloss.
i think you're completely right when it come to OH's kids. They're old enough to get over themselves and to stop inflicting their problems on others. Hope your OH sees the light very very soon.0 -
Thanks for the offer of paint LT, haven't looked yet as chaos reigns at home. OH's son's car broke down quite spectacularly. I towed it to garage this morning (after neighbours house alarm going off early hours of this morning for an hour!!!!!!!). I am pretty tired. I called the police about the alarm as I couldn't see my neighbours, and thought I was doing the right thing but only to be told unless there's a sign of a break in they won't attend. OH out at work, OH's son in bed so told them no chance was I going out in the dark in my pj's to have a look. Bless, they did turn up about ten minutes later and finally all was sorted and the alarm turned off. Not found out the cause yet but apparently nothing to worry about.
Getting extra work done tonight will depend on OH's son getting his car back otherwise I'll be taking OH to work and picking him up (not on any bus route so no choice). That means little sleep as it is.
Dinner already made for tonight, put some beef, carrots and onions in slow cooker with handful of chopped fresh herbs and some vegetable stock. Smelled lovely at 5am this morning (had let it cook all night), will serve tonight with mustard mash and a HM cob roll.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. the stew sounds yummy but i'll pass on the evil mash stuff.
Hope you get some sleep tonight and OH's son's car is back on the road quickly0 -
Sorry to hear that OH kids are acting up again. Do you know the root cause of their being like this? I only ask in case it might give you some understanding on how to deal with it! I am not suggesting that ignoring them isn't a strategy, only that there might be a better one as well.
I hope that OH finally stands up to them soon.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Chev, we've tried working it out and tbh in one case (the girl) she just thrives on chaos. The latest goings-on are not a surprise as she's trying to manipulate other people and sitting back and watching the fall out and finding it funny! She's has so many options and chances of help, counselling etc and each time she stomps all over the person giving her that chance (lying about them, assaulting them, stealing from them etc) but I think its hard-wired. hate saying that but her real Mum was like that too. The boy is going through a stage of not listening, he's easier to deal with but his sister's antics are having a huge effect on all of us. Its been going on for years and she only looks out for herself and never considers others at all or the impact that her behaviour has (even when she saw her Dad ill).
Didn't manage any extra work last night as had to take OH to and from work so another early start and I'm tired. Have big cup of tea so hopefully that'll keep me awake. hope you get that rest sometime soon Uni, you don't want to wear yourself out.
I've struggled today to wake up properly, think i've just about managed it now. I wonder what standard this morning's work reached lol0 -
Thanks LT, I struggled to stay awake during a meeting this morning. Forgot my glasses to boot, so kept trying to re-focus which made me more tired. OH joked this morning that he's surprised (considering what we've both been through) that I'm not on tablets for my nerves!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
