fingers crossed the interview will come through for you, at least you're getting interviews, that's a start.
what you've got planned for the spare bedroom sounds lovely.
I'm a black and red fan when it comes to clothes as well0 -
I think that's why I like Sainsb clothes LT, they seem to favour black and red.
OH and I slept right through till 10am this morning. We must have needed it. Went to next town, had a wander through B&M and bought 2 cans of orange juice, some bits and pieces for OH's packed lunches and had planned to buy new wiper blades (well one as we thought the drivers side was broken), as OH went to take it off so we could take it into the shop with us it clicked into place! No need to replace it and there was us thinking the clip was broken.
We took a wander through the market but it started to rain so we had to turn back. We saw lorne sausage (15 slices) for £2.50 but the stuff wasn't in the butcher's stall chill so I didn't fancy chancing it.
Back home, grabbed clothes off the line and quickly pulled weeds that have appeared out of nowhere at edge of driveway. Always seems to be our house or next door, the two houses across always seem 'perfect'.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, how is everyone? OH really unwell but he's gone to work as we need the money. OH and SS have had a row, OH accussing SS of taking quite a few pairs of his football shorts including a new pair I bought for him in Blackpool. I have been through washing and ironing pile and can't find any of them. SS claiming he only borrowed one pair and they went in the wash. OH has given SS till end of today to own up or 'find' them.
My item sold last night on ebay :j, by time I pay my fees I've probably made £4 profit, not a lot but its 2 more things out I won't use. I meant to put a Fat Face top onto ebay last night but OH and I ended up watching Hot Tub Time Machine, it's hilarious and if you're old enough to remember the 80's you find yourself saying i remember that....and that.....and that (sony tape walkmans, hair so high it defied gravity and held in place with about 2 cans of hairspray and lots of bright colours).
Back to the moneysaving stuff, 'Beast' is a cashback cc and finally they got back to tell me that if I don't meet the £10 minimum then any money I have made I lose (normally paid in january). So I have registered it onto Paypal. So that any purchases I make I can pay on the cc, earn my cashback and pay it off straight away from my bank account. Hopefully this means I'll earn a decent amount of casback in january. Does this seem sensible? I thought I might as well maximise what I can get back i.e. quidco and cc cashback.
I gave in and bought a JML dri buddy last night on ebay (new but got it for same price as the used ones), I really hope its as good as everyone says.
I really hope I don't end up with OH's cold, I have an interview next week. My Mum has an interview this week, so asked if she wanted to meet for coffee before hand and I said I'd wait for her. Hopefully a bit of a confidence boost for her.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hope your OH feels better soon...there's lots of bugs about at the moment....al this damp weather doesn't help.
Good to see you are at least getting plenty of interviews...just a pain there's not been any offers yet...you'll get one soon, I'm sure of it.
Been busy lately...not been on here for ages..catch up on the phone when I can.
Good luck to your mum with her interview too....fingers and toes crossed for both of you xx

Runny nose, sore head, earache, sore throat.... went out for more boxes of tissues, cough medicine and I'm wrapped up on the sofa in one of my new fleece blankets. Just had a call and now have another interview next week.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Is that the agency that want to run through the questions with you? If it is that's a good thing, means you're better prepared. It's not something I've come across, but I'm not doing that well at getting to the interview stage at the momentI've been sent a fantastic job role, but I'm almost afraid to apply for it, silly really. I think it must be my cover letter that lets me down. Do you have a template letter that you customise certain parts of it?
