No problem LT, happy to help.
Just taken OH to work (he's back on nightshift) and the car didn't start first time. It really better not be yet more problems as a) I can't afford yet more repairs and b) I really don't need the hassle. I'm putting it down to the change in temperature and the fact I didn't depress the accelerator as far as I normally do but only by a fraction. She has had a full service last week and I need her to be reliable for the trip to Blackpool next week with my Mum.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Car started ok, in city today doing some career stuff. Cost me £3.50 in parking, dropped and split my folder and just caught and pulled back my nailCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I'm still quite tired, hoping once I get the stuff finished for the company that I can get some tarot done. I've got one item on ebay (one of those Bravissimo strappy tops with a hidden bra) and now thinking I'll get rid of my 6 second abs and my hula hoop. Both a great idea but not used them, the hula hoop is too big to be used in my small livingroom. I actually use the pilates weight ball I bought in sainsbugs (1.99) and after using it for 2 minutes every day for 3 weeks I now am minus my bingo wings! I'm wondering if I list the 6 second abs with the hula hoop it will sell?
I bought a hula hoop from Home Bargains last week but it is also too big to use in the house (it is 36" in diameter, ie 3 foot wide!).
Managed to get in the garden this morning to have a go and blimey, after getting the hang of keeping it up, it makes you feel like you have been doing sit ups, that was only after a couple of minutes. I can def see it helping lose weight off your stomach, waist when used on a regular basis.0 -

I hate it when you type loads and lose it. Sb44, my neighbour's garden looks into mine so I'm not keen about using my hula hoop outside. So I may list it and my 6second abs.
Well, I have another interview tomorrow! Still no word from the company I went to see on friday.
Calorie wise I'm quite high already today, still keeping my calorie count diary.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello All, not long home from my interview. It cost me £7.50 to park my car just for a few hours! I'm still waiting to hear about the interview from last friday (they were supposed to let me know on monday), what would you do would call them or wait?
I am so looking forward to Blackpool next week with my Mum, I had really hoped I'd have a job by then.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, how is everyone?
Just had a frugal lunch, 3 scoops of leftover mashed potato (OH likes it when I use an ice-cream scoop it also means I can judge portions), a large tablespoon of leftover baked beans (I'm trying to use up all leftovers) put into the microwave for 2 mins oh high and 1/4 cup of gravy and all mixed together. It looks vile but tastes great and is very warming. I stupidly went out with wet hair this morning to get OH from work and now I cannot get warm.
Poor OH had dentist after work this morning and they've pulled his tooth. He took the packing out of his mouth (when I told him not to) and got blood all over the sofa (it's leather it wipes), cream cushions and his light coloured shirt. Thank heaven for bio-tex and stardrops, everything is in the kitchen sink and it looks as though the blood has come out. OH said "I'm off to bed before you beat me up for getting blood everywhere",...... as if I would.... I wasn't pleased though.
Catching up with emails, the company from Friday got back to me and have said they'll get back to me before my holiday (so either I go on holiday in a really good or really bad mood).
I have parcels to pack to send and a birthday card to make before 5pm today, which is for my hairdresser and I have a little charm bracelet for her I put together.
Need a bit of advice re potatoes, the pot I put mine into really isn't big enough could I transfer them to a larger container? If so what's the safest way to do this?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Its too wet outside to do anything. Got soaked going to the post office. OH still asleep, SS hasn't (first time in a few weeks) taken his clean washing upstairs so I've dumped it on his bed.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. My suitcase is buried under junk in the loft. I can't be bothered trying to fish it out tonight.
My money from paypal has cleared, and managed to get some tarot done today. I'll need to get cc's monthly bill paid before I head off on holiday. I wondering what exactly food wise I can get for OH and SS to eat next week? I can't see either of them cooking from scratch and I also need stuff for OH for his lunches that SS won't wolf through (so it might need to go in the fridge in the garage). So I don't know what to get. Any ideas?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. What have I been upto today?
No update on the job front.
Put cheques into the bank, changed (most) of my piggy bank holiday spending money.
Grabbed the following bargains from CS, small suitcase (it won't go amiss if OH and I are away and its in better condition than mine!) £4, foldable truck trolley (for OH and his work) £5, Gypsy top £2, Bikini top for SIL (new M&S) £3, Enid Blyton's The Wishing Chair Stories £1, DVD for OH for his birthday (new) £1 and a Dress from Planet £4 (not sure I like this but we'll see).
I went to supermarket and have grabbed a load of ready meals for OH and SS for next week. I have no illusions that will do any cooking. I went for a load of the MrT's Value ones (as they were within budget); chilli &rice, lasagne, chicken in a mushroom sauce and rice, bangers and mash, sausage rolls etc.
I still need to pay monthly stuff (cc etc) before I go on holiday but will get that done tonight.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
