Thanks ZTD, I know I'm probably worrying about nothing but I don't want anyone there to know (I don't think he would either) and for my own sake I need to get a job soon. I know it was a long time ago and he probably wouldn't want everyone knowing I met him on a dating site (a friend and I joined because all we met when going out were prats).

OH has decided to order takeaway (this is after him eating 2 YS microwaveable burgers and 4 crackers and cheese and a snickers bar over the last 3 hours), I'm really trying to watch my weight and he says it's like I'm trying to say he's forcing me to eat (I'm not), but 1) he is moaning about his weight and his work trousers not fitting him and 2) the cost, he's just 'borrowed' £10 off me (out of the money he gave me yesterday) to pay for it. I know I'll get it back but that's not the point.

Weigh in and I've lost 2lbs since last week, I think it would have been more but OH and I had lunch at new American Diner that's opened up in the city. Its not quite in the city centre, more in the university district, the new world church is upstairs which I think is putting people off as they think the diner is run by the church. OH got an all day breakfast (2 rashers bacon, 2 square sausage, 2 eggs, 2 potato scone, beans, 2 buttered toast and a mug of tea or coffee) and I got macaroni cheese and fries and a fruit juice. It came to £10, which isn't bad, the portions were actually very big (I didn't finish mine). Now I know macaroni cheese is bad for you but I do love it and the last time I totally deprived myself when trying to lose weight I fell off the wagon big style. So I had a light meal tonight of soup when my friend came over tonight (she and OH had a full meal). I'm guessing had I weighed myself before lunch (weighed myself at my Gran's when we got there later) then I might have been about a pound lighter!:D

I should hear tomorrow about the interview I went to on friday. Is this a really good idea considering that guy works there? I spoke to my Mum about it and she said for all I know he could be married now with 3 kids, it has been 7-8 years. I do need a job soon, not just for the sake of the bills.... but also my sanity.... I like routine and I like being busy.

I have money to pay into my account tomorrow and my item I'm selling on ebay is doing well (£12 last time I looked and it finishes in about 20 minutes), I just need to look it out to post.

I've repainted my nails with a dark colour and I can't say I like it as much as the shimmery white I did the other day, so I think I may change it tomorrow when I get back from volunteering.

Blackpool with my Mum a week tomorrow, and I can't wait. I have had a bit of a clear out of my make-up (which was in make-up bags, drawers etc) and cleared out anything that was off and put everything into a vanity case I have which had been gathering dust. Unfortunately I now have so much nail varnish it's now in one large make up (well the majority of it), so I think I may get a tool box type thing (plastic one) when in Blackpool to store all my nail stuff.

How is everyone? Keiss, how are you getting on do you still have your visitors?

    It'll be fine.

Or was it some kind of disaster where he ended up being rescued by Police from the top of Buckingham Palace wall with his underwear on his head?

No - thought not. You will probably have to think of something to say in case he does remember you, and does say something. Saying "it ended because you're a bit strange" isn't going to get you top marks in the diplomatics corps... :rotfl:

Thanks ZTD, he was quite money orientated and it fizzled out over the xmas that year. I didn't have a lot of money (and it was quite early in my mse days) so I got him a very fancy scrolled bottled of olive oil and a matching one of balsamic vinegar as he was quite into cooking and I thought it was not only pratical but the bottles looked nice. I got a box of very cheap chocolates in a Mr T's bag! He didn't seem impressed with his gift, and didn't even say thank you (I had nicely wrapped it). I did say thank you for my gift at least.

like Z says it will be fine if you get the job, he's not going to announce it to the world and it was a long time ago, you were different people. Plus you NEED the job :)

2lbs weight loss is really good! don't knock it, you certainly didn't gain the weight 2lbs each week and they say you shouldn't lose more than 2lb to be doing it a healthy weight.
As to how i survive OH eating (or even me cooking his food)? well he's getting a lot of pork at the moment as i don't eat that :) to be honest there have been a couple of moments where the smell of something has struck me but i'm just not bothered as i know i can't have it. I suspect it will be trickier once i start eating one meal a day instead of some of what i'm drinking. But where there's a will and all that.

Oh meant to ask, whats this thing you've been using for your arms? wouldn't mind something similar but not sure what to look for.

    Right, what's been happening today?

Well the company I saw on friday haven't called (they did say they would be in touch today).

I got a call about another company, the job I applied for has been offered to someone else but they want to aee me about a different job. The day they suggested is wednesday, which happened to be the day I said I would be volunteering. I've let my boss know, I feel bad about it as there's quite a lot of people off but I can't help it. Not heard back from either the company confirming the interview or from my boss at volunteering.
