Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening

Skipping back a bit, I used to be a member of 'Spice' - one of those 'get out and do stuff' type organisations. One of the best things I ever got to do (twice!) was go walking with wolves with these guys...http://ukwct.org.uk/

On my second visit, I had more time so went back to the trust HQ with everyone (those were the days when the walked the wolves through local woodland...), and got to meet an Alpha male in his enclosure - up close and personal actually, as I'm apparently catnip for wolves - he took a sniff, and decided to walk off the viewing platform and onto my shoulders (much to the consternation of the 'keepers' and I, and the enjoyment of everyone else!!).

They're big burgers when you've got a full grown male clambering all over you, and you're only 5'2"!! :rotfl:

You lucky thing Nora. I'm like that with dogs. A place I used to work one of the guard used to run away from its handler and make a bee-line for me or my desk (found me no matter where I was on site)

Hope everyone is having a great easter. I thought I wasn't going to get any easter eggs but my lovely Gran got me a Thorntons one (Mum got me a sewing kit.... thanks Mum! :D) and OH got me No7 day cream, night cream and serum.

I'm curled up on the sofa watching Mission to Mars for the millionth time (but still enjoy it). OH is asleep again. I know he's doing a lot of hours but this is ridiculous. He got in early hours sat, slept till about 2, we went for food shopping then home. He fell asleep on the sofa about 6 and snored loudly (much like he's doing now) and woke up at 11. Bang goes our evening. Today he got up about 9, went back to bed for an hour then up. We've been to my Gran's then for a meal he promised me and home and he's asleep on the sofa again (he complained of being tired all the way through the meal). Can't say I'm chuffed to be honest no one can be that tired. I know he's doing a lot of hours but he's not listening about getting into a good sleep pattern and is just dropping off whenever. Yet during the week he's staying up as long as possible going to bed then getting up and then going back to bed. Am I being unreasonable? We're supposed to be sitting watching a film together with a glass of wine and he's snoring his head off. I sat and watched a film alone last night and had to turn the volume up to maximum to hear it above his snoring. SS claims to be working tonight..... which seems odd as the place he works takes every other public holiday.

Whilst at Gran's she wanted to go through some of my Papa's things. Some I said I'll take to the charity shop I used to volunteer in. His hats (trilby's) I've kept. I'll wear them. A nice reminder of him, he was always very smartly dressed. I also found a very smart long grey coat I used to wear when I was 17...... and it fits! :j Unfortunately that doesn't mean I've lost loads of weight it just means it was very baggy.... its a DP 12 as well! Their 12's now are tiny. Will get it dry cleaned over the summer in preparation for next winter.

Morning All, its snowing heavily here. Back in the office today. My last week. Was off yesterday, spent the latter part of the day shopping. Got new top for my leaving do and new bra from Bravissimo. Long time since I've been into the shop (normally order online), the customer service was VERY poor. Took me ten minutes to get a hold of a member of staff, when I did get someone they were rude, asked for one thing and got given someone else's bras! Not a good experience but now at least have a bra that doesn't cause me pain.

Took some shots of old Glasgow yesterday and will post them onto my blog. Sad to see the old parts go as some of the new parts don't look any better.

Well done on the shopping, shame about the poor service...had my fair share of that too. :(

Oh dear, snow again!! Won't mention the sun then...and two loads of washing out on the line drying :o.

I was going to spend the morning doing paid IT work, have done a bit, but now need to get ready to head to the dentist. I have a loose filling, and need to get it sorted asap....got a cancellation this morning, so off out in a mo.

Hope this week isn't too sad for you...just think of it as a new opportunity for you to spread your wings.

    Take care xxx
