Hello, sorry not been about for a while been busy on the course. I passed the first exam but have to wait 3 weeks to get results of the second exam. I am so tired (not helped by eating junk food all week), met some great people on the course. No news on the job front, had one call but as i was on the course I couldn't go to their arranged assessment and they weren't sure they could rearrange.
Money update: got paid today, last pay (still to get redundancy) so have paid my cc's. Still to get my Vivatic payment. OH does his last shift tonight (only found out tonight it's his last). Back to job hunting and tarot..... and here..... missed you guysCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning all! Glorious day here in the far north of Scotland. Looks like gardening could be on the cards later. Too cold atm.
Posting from my phone, so very slow.
Well done passing your first exam Unix, hope you have passed the other too.
SS needs a kick up the a***! What happened to you giving him a couple of months notice? You could at least get a proper paying lodger, as chev says.
Don't worry about accepting money from your gran. If she wants you to have it and can afford it, then great. People can get quite upset if you refuse their help when they offer it.
Need to get up and have my porridge before venturing outside.
Have a good weekend xxx

We've said to SS he has to move out if his behaviour doesn't improve and that means no notice etc. With both OH and I not working (I'm not counting my tarot), we've told SS his dig money is going up (cue moan, groan) told him if he didn't shut up then power would be getting switched off at night etc to control spend (SS will sit up all night with everything in his room switched on!).
Picked OH up from work and he gave me a hand with food shopping. Didn't need too much as have a lot in the freezer but Sainsbury's and Aldi's had some good deals. I didn't sleep very well last night, I think either the row with SS last night has upset me more than I realised or my brain is still in gear from the course. OH said the mirror was smashed before (earlier in the week), which makes me wonder what did SS break if it wasnt the mirror?
back to charity shop on monday, looking forward to it. They are such a nice bunch to work with. Was nice to have proper food for lunch (HM) rather than the convenience food I've been eating all week. Have made rosemary and olive foccacia bread for later, have semi-tidied up will do the rest later. Trying to catch up on job applications.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. sorry to hear OH's job has finished as well, that's just the pits.
Glad you've told SS he's on his last chance you may need the money from a lodger to tide you over. fingers crossed you'll hear about a job soon.
Chev, the bugs looks so cute, i miss my little grey bunny who was called Douglas.0 -
Going to phone tax office, my last payslip has a 7x tax code, haven't they supposed to be changed to 8x?
Went through to see my Gran, had soem lunch with her and she gave me money to top up her shopping card (which I'll do tomorrow). OH and i got the Sainasburys deal (4 mains, 2 sides), had the korma (more like a mild curry rather than a korma) and OH had the kevi roots chicken wings and we had vegi spring rolls as our side dish. Have beef with black bean (for OH) and burrittos (for me) and prawn toast for tonight. I know SS will moan but tough. Spent the day applying for jobs and delivering some applications with OH. Trying to keep in a routine. Off to check bank as my DD's should have started coming out for this month.
