I hope so LT. I'm up early again, lots to do as the company is coming to do the loft insulation today.

    to do:-

    - check bank accounts
    - job hunting (will do a little this morning then do the rest this afternoon when the loft company are in)
    - tidy kitchen, hall
    - dust
    - clean downstairs toilet
    - re-straighten my hair as its sticking out all over the place!
    - try and get towels I washed dry (no chance of putting them outside as it's pouring down!)
    - tarot (might as well, every penny helps at the moment)
    - surveys
    - pick up bottle of wine for OH and I tonight

so lots to do, would mae things easier if it was dry outside i.e. I could hang the towels outside!

How is everyone today? Off to check bank accounts, finish my cuppa and crack on with my list, back later.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Loft insulation done, the place is toasty warm. Just had some lunch, a piece of quiche (from freezer) and a jacket potato.

Sorry to hear about the job Unix, out there is a job just right for you, all you need to do is find it!!

You have had a busy day already, I've managed to get a few bits done too. I have two loads out on the line (sorry, dull here, but dry), made four fruit loaves and a huge pot of soup in the morning, then was on the phone for about an hour to HMRC...are they really busy do you think, or just have shares in BT?!! :rotfl:

Still have sorted out my tax codes (two salaried jobs and two self-employed jobs, so a bit complicated) for the two salaried jobs. Also have clarified things about my NI contributions, so much happier with things. "All" I have to do is sort out the rest of my receipts for my crafting business, then I'll be ready to fill in my first Tax Return...scary!!!

Need to go and whizz my soup, so DS1 and I can have it for lunch (we don't really like lumpy soup :o!).

Have a great weekend, and good luck with your job hunting xxxx

LOL :rotfl: I never thought of it like that! I had a nightmare of a time getting through to them when my tax code was wrong but they were helpful. 2 employed jobs and 2 self-employed Keiss? OMG, do you ever get a minute to yourself? I take my hat off to you I don't think I could do that, I'd settle for one employed job atm as well as my self-employed job (which is great but i can never rely on what I will earn from it).

One of the S-E jobs is my crafting, but not been making much money (a bit of a loss to be honest). The other is regular, but only 5 hours a week. My new salaried job is one day a week atm, with extra days when my boss is away (ie tomorrow!); the other is invigilating at the local college, so I can decide when I work (or don't) so easy to fit into the rest of the week.

I did go a bit mad and accept lots of invigilating times for the next month or more, so after today, my first free day is a week tomorrow!!! Admittedly, on Sunday I am off to a Quilt Show, but I am meeting my IT client for a bit there, so I may be able to claim some paid time! :D

Right, been on MSE for too long, need to get sewing!

    Have a good weekend xxx

Keiss, how did you get into invigilating? If you don't mind me asking.

Out in Glasgow with OH, he's at a photography course and I'm trying to waste 4 hours. So far been to a small shopping centre nearby in what was once (quite recently) an affluent area. The shopping centre was used in the tv comedy Still Game. Well apart from a Sainsbury's Local and a sweet shop, a very sorry looking shoe shop (window full of cheap plastic sandals) and 2 charity shops that was it! The multi-storey car park behind it is boarded up. There was a few other shops on the esplanade ( boots, superdrug and b&m), I couldn't believe it! The place has changed so much, I was last down here 5 years ago and it wasn't like this. I got some bits and pieces but cannot find any books by my favourite authors except the ones I've already read.

.... Only one hour 45 minutes to go. Oh and my car is playing up again it now struggles to start when left overnight!
