Morning everyone, its SS's 21st today so was up early with OH to sort out SS's cake etc (SS is night shift). SD tried her hardest to ruin it again with all her nonsense. Would anyone like to see a pic of the cake and card?

    On todays list:-

    catch up with emails
    check bank
    job applications
read through 2 application packs I got
    tarot

I can't believe how warm it is. Our house was too hot over night (our new loft insulation?) I had all the windows open upstairs.

Hope everyone's well, I'll be back later.

The car repairs (I meant to say) I didn't have to pay for (), the part put in by local garage was faulty and not properly checked. The dealership discovered this and when I called the owner of my local garage he was VERY embarassed. He picked up the repair bill. So fingers crossed my car is ok.

slowly catching up with emails, the house is so warm. I had thought about opening the loft hatch but I don't want to find lots of spiders later on.

I fell asleep for a couple of hours (must have needed it) and woke up feeling quite sick (I can only assume having a slice of birthday cake as breakfast was not a good idea). Did one of the written applications which had to be in today and applied for other jobs but still to finish the other application.

I think you could probably be right LT. I've not been drinking a lot.

Trying to drink more LT. I made the salt and pepper chicken wings from 'takeaway secret' book, they were awful. Made other recipe from the book and they've come out lovely.

OH and I tidied up the garden today and all my veggies are planted now. I have same as last year some onions bulbs left over if anyone would like some. I always buy too many.

Over seeing my Gran today and she gave me some ground cover plants, I've put them into a huge pot at the moment until we sort out the front garden (its a bit overgrown). Our chillis are growing really well.

I really need to get a job soon, worrying about how long savings will last. Trying to eek out every penny where possible. Did some tarot tonight so that's another £10 (pays tv license), and £257 I got back that I was owed. So I'll pay some of that into my bank account tomorrow. OH also paid for a full tank of petrol for me, we went to Mr T's which was on way to my Gran's, much cheaper than area where we live and I get clubcard points too.

Have nice long tunic top in my wardrobe but only worn it once. It has long sleeves so I think I'll get the sewing machine out and take the sleeves off and use those to add tiers to it and make it a sleeveless dress. OH also treated me to 5 new vest tops (Primark but he said I need stuff I feel good in).

glad you were able to get out into the garden, i wouldn't mind some onions if you let me give you something towards them, I've a raised bed with some strawberries in (begged from my sister) so i can put stuff in there.

i'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you to get a job soon.

Behave LT, will send some down to you.

My shoulders are slightly pink from the sun, I had put on factor 30 but I've missed the tops of my shoulders.
