Yep, its blizzard conditions outside. Thankfully it's not settling but need to venture out at lunchtime to get petrol (that should be fun!).

Blimey! Dad woke up to snow, but it disappeared pretty fast. He is on the east coast, just south of JoG, so doesn't tend to get much snow. We have just had a heavy rain shower...a welcome change down here in the south, though I had to get my washing in...thank goodness for my new pulley :D

Good luck with the fuel foraging!

Got my fuel. Though was frozen trying to fill the car, the snow was coming through the forecourt sideways.

Had the quickest callback about a job app ever. 1 minute between hitting send and my mobile going! Its an agency so we'll see what happens.

Its started snowing again. My letterbox has been rattling non-stop, I think the spring has gone in it. I've used some of my sticky fixers from my card making to stop it rattling and driving me nuts.

Tea tonight went down a storm, chicken curry (with onion and mushrooms) with saffron rice. I got the curry sauce in Home Bargains for 29p! I think I'll head off to bed shortly, have headache and am quite cold. Paracetamol, hot water bottle and a thick pair of pj's.

    Night night all

Morning All, going to golden arches fast food place at lunchtime. Bad I know (because I really shouldn't be wasting money). Had to chase up paperwork this morning (which I wasn't pleased about). I need to get some tarot done this week, I didn't get any done last week (just not feeling up to it) and missing those extra pounds going into my bank today.

Applied for a few more jobs, not sure if i'll hear anything back till after easter now. Keep your fingers crossed guys, positive vibes.

DIY friend coming over tomorrow to get a few more foils in her hair. I forked out for all the stuff to do it (£24) and she'd asked me how much it was so told her. When they turned up last weekend they gave me a herb basket (with the price ticket on it of £15). OH ordered a takeaway (I was supposed to be cooking but as they were so late it was hair or food, and had to do friends hair in the kitchen so I didn't get dye on the carpets) and neither DIY friend or her OH offered anything towards the bill of just under £40. I'm hoping its just an oversight and that she'll reimburse me tomorrow. She was supposed to come over in the afternoon (and even phoned at 4 to say they were on their way, its only 20 mins max between theirs and ours) but didn't appear till about 6:30. She wanted her dark hair blonde, its come up a strawberry blonde. I did say to her I would do more foils this week but it would wreck her hair doing 2 lots in one night. It was a drastic change, I did a strand test before hand so she knew how drastic it would be. Do you think she's in the huff with me? I did the strand test so there would be no surprises. .... or is it just me panicking?

Calmer now (may explain later what happened after my last post but suffice to say something is written down and you've said it numerous times, why do I get the backlash when someone else gets it wrong?), had company of a friend to mcd's for burger, fries, mozarella dippers and a diet coke (yeah I know what's the point after all the calories I've just consumed but I prefer the taste). Its true what they say laughter is the best medicine and we put the world to rights for an hour. The monopoly game is still on so when I won 2 free dessert and my friend hadn't won anything I gave her the choice of one of the two I had won. After all if you can't share with a friend who can you share with.

Thanks Lucielle, not really getting a lot of help with redundancy. The only help I am getting is coming from VERY strange avenues!

Applied for more jobs today, it all seems very quiet with the end of the tax year and easter.

I'm comfort eating and I really shouldn't as I put weight on very easily. Even though had dinner (2 southern fried chicken drumsticks and salad, no dressing) just had one of thise micro-pizza's. That's after having a mcd's for lunch!!!!

Morning All, checked bank balance and its ok. Still have council tax to come out (which I'm assuming will come out next week after easter), but apart from that that's all the bills this month. OH owes me £50 which I'll get tomorrow. £20 of that is for fuel (as I take him to work). Will log on tonight and do some tarot, as they say every little helps. Owe one of my work friends £19 as she's going to get the discounted shopping cards for me once I leave. So set it up with the minimum so I can get the new cards. I get one for me and one for my Gran, Mum also has one but they've said they don't mind sharing a card as they do their shopping together. The discount means my Gran (as well as me and Mum) get the equivalent of 3 weeks free shopping a year. It means I know my Gran's pension goes a bit further.

DIY friend is coming over tonight to get a few more foils done in her hair. I'm hoping she coughs up the money she owes for the stuff I bought as that was the deal. Its not a fortune (£24) but I could do with it iyswim
