Unfortunately my cousin can't move in its just a little too far from her new job for her to be on call. She's now found somewhere and OH and I will help her move in in a few weeks.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I know Dragon. Would have preferred her and her dog to move in.
Paid just under £4 to 'Tax', ..... thank you Tarot.... and yes the other half of it has been put away for my next tax bill (not being stung like that again!) in my ISA so at least I'll get a bit of interest.
Need to buy new interview suit/shoes/blouse this week, I know its going to be expensive but it'll be worth it.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. All quiet on the job front, getting my hair done tonight and doing a friend's for her on saturday.
Bought a new bra yesterday (one of those JML vest bras), it was awful. Obviously not meant for my size! So will need to return it.
Have payout from Vivatic, but turns out I won't get it till end of next month! When did they change that?
I paid the outstanding tax, well it went onto 'The Beast' so will need to get that paid off asap.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Day off today, went suit shopping. Dropped past works to see my friends as had very drastic hair style change and wanted to show it off (sad I know).
Got a lovely suit but why oh why do sizes vary even in store? In one suit the 14 jacket fitted, another it was a 16 and the final one I tried I needed an 18 (a little baggy but the 16 was too tight).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Have DIY friend coming over in a bit to get her hair done. My kitchen looks like a salon! Need to tidy up but really can't be bothered. OH just off a night shift and had said he would tidy dining room for me but he's not done it. SS has broken his phone and says he's skint (only got paid a few days ago), was hanging about (so I knew he wanted something), said to him I'm not lending him money and nor do I have a spare phone. I know he has money in his account other wise he wouldn't be going out tonight! He was also wanting to know who was coming round (being nosey in other words as he kept asking), he's got it into his head we're renting a room out. ...... Am I bad i didn't confirm or deny it?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Ok I've been REALLY bad, just spent £42 (inc postage) on a shirt for interviews. Its a Pepperberry one so I know it'll fit round my bust properly. I bought pale blue stripe as they didn't have any white ones left (they were completely sold out). Would this be ok for an interview with a grey suit and black shoes?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Sounds very smart Unix, it's good to splash out once in a while...and it's all in a good cause after all!
Well done on letting SS think you are renting out the room, let him stew, and get a finger out at moving out.
I had a job interview/meeting today...lasting nearly 2 hours!! It was at a (or rather the) sewing machine shop in the nearby town. It's only for one day a week initially, possibly going up to two days quite quickly, then working all week in September when the owner goes on holiday. I will find out if I have the job on Monday, fingers crossed. It's not great pay, but it will be regular money coming in, and we have decided bringing in more of that is becoming a priority with both DSs at Uni come September.
I will be able to learn to use and "play" on all the demonstration machines in the shop...what fun...even the ones well over £5000!!!:eek: Fancying this job more and more!!
Hope you have a lovely weekend xxx

The job sounds fab Keiss. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. With both DS's at Uni soon keep an eye on the freebie boards, there's usually lots of good student stuff comes up from about May onwards.
SS decided to wake OH and I up last night at 2:30am by turning every light in the house on and heating up my leftover curry (which I told him DO NOT TOUCH) and taking it straight to his room and sitting the container on the bed. He knows he's not allowed food upstairs. It was like WW3 in my house. OH told him if there's just one more thing at all deliberate or otherwise he's gone.
Off to see what there is on the job pages.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
