Thanks Keiss, Dragon. SS was wanting to know where we were going this morning (food shopping) but he just seemed too nosey. We didn't tell him. He's off to see his sister, he'll never learn. We had to pick up the pieces last time. I'm kind of hoping he will move out as the little moods, moaning if I don't cook (if we've been out, its the first thing he says when we get in whats for dinner... I mean he's 21 he can fend for himself), moaning if I do (i.e. he wants something different) and tips what I've made into the bin, the untidiness and then the icing on the cake this morning ..... he had no shower gel... there was 2 of his in the shower but according to him they were empty.... I've just emptied them into the soap dispenser (roughly the same size) and its half full!!!!

Anyway, chilling out now. Watching tv. OH grabbing some sleep. Washing is out on the line since its a nice day.

glad you've asserted yourself at home, it's about time your SS realised who's house it is.
Think the shower gel thing is a man thing, Mr LT is just the same, when i turn the bottles upside down there's loads in there, i often just put it in his next bottle and he's none the wiser.

Lol about the shower gel...DS2 is like that too. :rotfl: DS1 is rather different, always making the most of every scrap of everthing, even to the point of adding some water to make the last bit go further.

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning All, car fixed (again). Headlight again. Been upto bank to pay in shopping money for my Gran and Mum (will miss that perk, i.e. money off shopping cards). Just wondering if any of the cashback websites let you buy shopping cards at a discount?

Popped in to see my former boss from the charity I volunteered for for 6 months. Told her whats going on re my job and she said if I wanted to I can go back there, she would love to have me back. Yes, its unpaid but it was fabulous experience and would keep me busy rather than staring at four walls. Was a big ego boost saying she would love to have me back and still has people asking how I am.

Just heard my neighbour a few doors up has had a baby. I didn't even know she was expecting! Congratulations to them, I just wish our lives would be a bit smoother like theirs. I feel (especially with the job thing) that I'm on a rollercoaster half the time. SS was moaning the fact we'd stripped the sheets off his bed and given him clean ones (more the fact he had to make the bed, which he's still not done, OH is going to go nuts). Its a nice day i wanted to get as much washing done and hung out as I could.

A few rejection letters this morning. Two I kind of expected (I had the majority of what they were asking for but not all), but the other I had hoped I may have a chance. Have an interview tomorrow, just a preliminary so we'll see what comes out of that.

....oh and got £5 for tarot last week. A drop in the ocean as just paid my tax bill of nearly £600. :(. I am now at least putting tax money away so I never end up in this situation again! Will be looking into a new ISA as my current one pays 1% (shows how much notice I paid doesn't it?).

Hope everyone is well, off to make a cuppa. Anyone else for one? Then mop the floors, do some clicks, and check the job pages.

Good luck with the interview tomorrow Unix xx

Great that you can at least do some voluntary work if you need to...and as you say, a great confidence booster.

Lol to SS not making his bed...both my sons learned to make their beds early on in their lives. I have an iffy back, made much worse by stripping and making beds; hoovering and washing the car...not that I miss doing these things :D :rotfl:!!

If only SS would take the hint Keiss. He finally made his bed, he got cheeky with me. Told him I didn't want ice cream stored in the fridge for days and he told me I was over-reacting. Sorry but I don't want melted ice cream all over the rest of the food, OH gets stomach bugs really easily as do I.
