Thanks for your kid wishes Unix, at least I won't have long to wait..he's to ring me tomorrow sometime...starting to get nervous now! Think I will ring HMRC tomorrow about what to do about my tax code. This job will be my 3rd job, my first is with the local college and I get paid directly and have NI and tax (if any) taken off. The other is my IT work, where I am self employed, and I will complete a Self Assessment form some time in the future. Not sure what to do with this job, think I will ring them tomorrow...need to find all the relevant details first then!

Thanks for the tip about the student stuff. DS1 is pretty sorted, being in his third year of a four-year Master course (Pure Maths ). DS2 is (hopefully) starting in September (Sport Strength and Conditioning), in halls, but only 12 miles away. So if he/we forget something, it'll be easy to get things to him. :D

That SS of yours really takes the biscuit...sorry, but I would have had him out of the house ages ago...you have the patience of a saint!!! :A

Think I'll head off to bed soon, was up late on Friday night nattering to lil'sis, then had a hectic day yesterday, but had a poor night's sleep last night, so rather cream crackered now.

Good luck with the job hunt xxx

Sorry but there is no way I would let SS stay any longer. He has let SD in your house when he KNOWS she is not to be in your house. Add that to the phone, the eating where he shouldn't and the fact that he is SO nasty to you, why are you waiting?
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I got the job!! :j Trial day next Wednesday, then I'm off to Scotland for 15 days.

Looks like there will be the possibility of doing some IT work for him as well as some teaching hours (once I have worked out how to use all the machines!!). Could be the beginning of an amazing time!

Hope you are OK today Unix xxx

Congrats Keiss!!!! :T so chuffed for you. Where abouts in Scotland are you going? If I can be of any help with the IT stuff let me know, would be more than happy to help.

Was off seeing about my redundancy today. OH has been amazing saying basically I can have his whole wage and he'll work extra hours and SS's dig money is going up so I don't have to worry about bills. I burst into tears. OH knows I'm having a hard time with SS but we've had a chat and told him if he takes the P*55 again then he's gone. Feeling very fragile today. I at least managed to tidy out some rubbish last night in trying to find passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate and other forms of ID. All of which I needed for the meeting this morning.

Decided to use some of my redundancy to go update my qualifications. I can sit the course I want to only 30 minutes away and it'll only take a few weeks.

(((Hugs))) about the redundancy stuff Unix, no fun at all. Glad your OH is helping, but I'm afraid the best help he could do is tell his son to leave! I know there will be less income, but that will be more than covered by not having to feed/clean after him and the pressure he is putting on you is unforgiveable.

Thanks for the offer of help, it will only be basic stuff, setting up a customer database (like I have done with my other IT client with the craft centre), and tinkering with his website (adding photos and news items), as well as sorting out how he runs and organises various sewing classes...publicity etc. That we will negotiate later. I asked for the same rate I have with the craft centre for the IT work...so more than the shop assistant rate , the teaching rate will be better too, so looking promising. :j

I am flying up to Inverness from Bristol, then dad is meeting me and we'll head on up the A9 until it runs out. Well nearly, 9 miles short...and where the A9 used to go...it stops @ Scrabster now and not JoG!!! I'm also having a few days in Orkney...love it there. :heart2:

Right off to bed, shattered and a bit achey tonight. I forgot to take my pain relief at lunch time today and only now are things starting to ease...must remember to take them when I should!!

Take care of yourself lass, good idea to update your quals...especially when it's so close to you. Night, night xxx
